  1. Alright.

    So I took up the extreme challenge of recreating World Finals 16.
    A few things to note so that we don't fill up the reviews with complaints.

    Yes, I know that the track isn't 100% accurate. I made some mistakes, but it's correct for the most part.
    Yes, I know that racing has a bunch of shading errors. I've spent over 4 hours between yesterday and today redoing the racing track and there are still errors.
    But hey, the track functions and we can finally have a new World Finals to play on that isn't World Finals 13.

    Copy paste is fun.

    Anyway, since this track is alpha splatted, same rules apply for an fps version as they did for Arlington.

    So, if you experience low FPS on this track, go into the WF16Racing.material and WF16Freestyle.material file, search for WF16Racing.png and WF16Freestyle.png and in that section of the material file:

    {
    receive_shadows on
    technique
    {
    // base pass
    pass
    {
    lighting off
    texture_unit
    {
    // we use the metal plates texture as the base, other textures are blended over it
    texture 2014MinnyDirt.png
    scale 0.03 0.09
    }
    }
    // leaks pass
    pass
    {
    lighting off
    // blend with former pass
    scene_blend alpha_blend
    // only overwrite fragments with the same depth
    depth_func equal
    // alpha map for the leaks
    texture_unit
    {
    texture Arlington2015Floor.png
    // use alpha from this texture
    alpha_op_ex source1 src_texture src_texture
    // and colour from last pass
    colour_op_ex source2 src_texture src_texture
    }
    // detail texture
    texture_unit
    {
    texture leak.png
    // the scale is set to 1:1 because we don't want this texture to be tiled
    scale 1 1
    // alpha blend colour with colour from last pass
    colour_op_ex blend_diffuse_alpha src_texture src_current
    }
    }
    // lighting pass
    pass
    {
    ambient 1 1 1
    diffuse 1.05 1.05 1.05
    depth_func equal
    scene_blend zero src_colour
    }
    }
    }

    Raise only the red bolded numbers but be sure to always keep the ratio the same (A 6 number gap between the numbers)
    This will work for anywhere in the material file that you see WF16Racing.png or WF16Freestyle.png.

    Because there are so many parts to this track, I'm going to name off some people who contributed any part to the track.

    Klayton Haylog
    Tharindu Don
    Danny Mackey
    Aaron Lurie
    Devin Doss
    Julio Vellon Jr
    Mason Watts
    Google
    and many other track makers on this site.

    Sorry if I forgot anyone. Let me know if I forgot you and I'll add you in the reviews.

    Well, there you go. World Finals 16 is the first released World Finals in almost 3 years.
    So enjoy it!

  2. It's time people!!!! I think this is a treat for everyone. I hope you guys have fun on this track since you ALL wanted it. But I thought I'd mention this, my computer was not hacked, I made a huge flaw and somehow managed to put my WF13 mesh and material in the WF9 download (now fixed). So for those of you who didn't notice, Thank you lol. But anyways, Enjoy!!!!

  3. Happy Thanksgiving guys. I wish I could have released my recent projects earlier, but midterms were more important. This is a revamped version of my old RCD stadium from last year with better obstacles and an overall better track to play on. Hope you guys enjoy!

    Credits:

    Hot Shoe - Letting me edit his crowd texture
    Ethan Dean - Letting me use his racing idea he used for one of his old tracks

    *NOTE* - You may use any of my textures as long as credits are given.

  4. The track which held the greatest Grave Digger freestyle out of any in the mind blowing 30 years of its existance, is right here ready for download! That's right, it's just a few clicks a way. Click download, save to packs, clear+regen cache, bring it up in game under the name "Minneapolis 2007 Racing" and "Minneapolis 2007 Freestyle," hit the gas and you'll be having a swell time in no time!

    Yea...that sums it up.

  7. WF9

    Well here it is guys. It was originally going to be used for Makr's ROROutlaws but we then decided to use my WF13. Hope you guys enjoy it and if you use the breadvan or boat for anything, the creator MUST be credited.

  8. So yea here's Oakland. Went through hell to make the stadium. Racing is a bit hard since the turn cars are a bit close to the edges of the turn...you'll see what I mean. Anyays have fun!

  9. San Marco Arena – Author’s Notes
    By: Hot Shoe

    Thank you for downloading San Marco Arena 2nd Stop for RoR Sim-Monsters! I won’t keep you long as I’m sure you’d like to get out on the track. First, if I may, a little history and information:

    Extract the main zipped file to access the course layout picture and Author's Notes text file for important information. The file also contains the actual zipped file for this track.

    San Marco Stop 1 (or SanMarco Arena 2005) was a popular creation of mine in Monster Truck Madness 2. I even enjoyed the pleasure of racing on my own track in a league. I lost that race, sadly. However, San Marco was a hit. Thus as I did with many of my tracks, I decided to construct another creation. A “2nd Stop” in 2005. This was a trademark of mine for many of my tracks: to revisit a venue with each new version having a different twist to the layout, or setting.

    San Marco Arena 2 is an all original track that has been in re-development since its forgotten Monster Truck Madness 2 counterpart. I’m very proud to finally release this track! This track was originally created and mostly finished in Monster Truck Madness 2 before I left the game, and dropped the project.

    In bringing it to RoR Sim-Monsters, the track has undergone numerous changes in order to bring it up to date, as the original MTM2 version is now 6 years old.

    The first San Marco (a track I’m planning to re-create for RoR Sim-monsters), was a St Louis style, twin oval layout. This version has what I’ve come to call a Saran Wrap, or Wrap Around Chicago style course.

    Please refer to the course layout (saracinglayout) picture.

    At the start line (the Saran Wrap section), you accelerate forward to the first right hand turn through the “Alleyway”, and into a short straight section before making your 2nd long, wide right handed turn. Upon entering the Chicago Style layout, you’ll straighten back out, and fly across the first set of cars, into a tight left hand turn. Accelerate along the straight, and fly over the second set of cars, into another tight left hand turn. Again, accelerate along the straight, and across the final set of cars to the finish.

    A few additional notes: All the signs and poles on the track have been set with no-collide properties. The signs are for decoration. The poles are not necessarily meant for penalties. They are in place as a guide of where the racing course and direction is.

    For fun, the Truck Shop is in place for you to swap between your favorite trucks anytime you like.

    Credits (models and textures):

  12. In 1990 the monsters of the TNT Monster Truck Series came to do battle at the Myrtle Beach Speedway in Myrtle Beach SC. As was the case for many race tracks that the monsters raced at, the biggest concern was having little room on each side of truck as the drivers wrestled their machines down the alley in an attempt to avoid an altercation with the barriers.

    One such truck unfortunately had a meeting with more than just the barriers. At the end of his run, Steve Cain in “King Kong III” suffered breakage to a sway bar which shot him towards the left hand barrier of the track. Hopping over the barrier on two wheels, the truck smashed through and toppled the track's 76 sign, settled down on all fours for a few moments before veering to the left once more. At the climax of this already wild ride, Steve Cain and “King Kong III” rolled over, landing on top of and destroying two brand new county patrol cars, with the truck momentarily bursting into flames. Within moments of the truck coming to a stop, Steve Cain removed himself from the truck, and walked away from one of the most iconic spectacles in monster truck crashes.

    This is the site of that spectacular wreck. The RoR re-creation of Myrtle Beach Speedway, 1990.

    ***NOTES***

    MIRROR 1 is the FULL DETAIL version of the track.
    MIRROR 2 is the LOW DETAIL version of the track.

    This track not only has the replicated, straight line event as seen on the TNN Trucks and Tractor Power Broadcast, but also a custom, “roundy-round” racing layout.
    The tracks have been titled as follows.

    Full detail versions:
    DAY-Myrtle Beach 1990-REPLICA
    DAY-Myrtle Beach 1990-CUSTOM
    NIGHT-Myrtle Beach 1990-REPLICA
    NIGHT-Myrtle Beach 1990-CUSTOM

    LOW LAG versions:
    DAY-Myrtle Beach 1990-REPLICA-LOWLAG
    DAY-Myrtle Beach 1990-CUSTOM-LOWLAG
    NIGHT-Myrtle Beach 1990-REPLICA-LOWLAG
    NIGHT-Myrtle Beach 1990-CUSTOM-LOWLAG

    To easily find these tracks in the Terrain Loader, simply type “MY”in the search bar.

    The on track props (signs, light poles, stands, barriers, 76 sign, fencing, poles, Christmas Trees, etc.) have been set with no-collide properties.

    On the LOW LAG version of the track, the fencing has been removed in order to reduce lag.

  16. Thought there wasn't going to be a Fall Madness this year? WRONG. Here in this zip file is Fall Madness II, a track design like no other. Racing will hold a test to those capable of maneuvering through all forms of racing; tight U-Turns, long squared sections, and chicanes, together with table tops, car stacks, and a huge cross-over, will create the ultimate challenge for even the best of drivers. Freestyle will be a free-for-all on a course large enough for two Sam Boyd Stadiums. With giant step up doubles, plateaus, and bus jumps to even the simplest of pyramid stacks, wheelie cars, and sea container jumps; cross-threads, big air, and insane combos alike will become a common spectacle on this track.

    And what would a well made track be without proper credits to those who made it:

    Travis Sewilo: (MLSM Logo)
    Sim-Monsters (Wall Banners, Crowd, LED Ad, Protective Plastic, Concrete)
    MTM2 (Vehicles)

    I think this pretty much sums everything up, want to thank everyone who helped out to make this a great track for a great event. Also thanks to everyone who choose this track to be home of Fall Madness II. It feels great to have someone use one of my tracks in an event, and Fall Madness of all of them. Enjoy and have fun everyone.

  17. Might as well release this since SSRS is on halt. This track was ran in real life on January 25, 2014. It was also the track Northern Nightmare did this save on.

    If you would like the stop/go lights to glow, make sure you have the "glow" box checked in the graphics panel of your ROR configurator (**Warning: May Result in an FPS drop**).

  24. WF4

    Well I figured since that I have received my goal of a 1000 rep here on SM, I decided that I would release World Finals 4. I hope you guys enjoy this.

    *ATTENTION: There are TWO versions of this track; a 1024 texture for FPS and a 2048 texture for those of you who run a very good FPS and for those of you who want some quality. You are free to use my container, garbage truck, semi trailer, RV, wallbanners, and the outside textures of Sam Boyd Stadium as long as if I am credited.

    Credits go to Liquid for the original Sam Boyd Stadium (which i have edited to make it look fairly accurate) and his car models / textures (which are edited by me as well to make them look more like they have been scratched).
