  1. As some of you may know I was trying to do some truck edits (cause i cant figure out blender to do my own from scratch customs) But here is what I have been working on This is an edit of Taurus Racer 13's Leaf Spring truck from his leafer pack. When this is done if he gives me permission I will post it.
  2. ahhhhhh ok got it. Now can I put it back to SMV or do I need another step? I dont remember from the video lol. I have a wife and a child so i get interrupted ALOT lol
  3. So when you say a file with the same name, do you mean like a blank txt file with the same name?
  4. Maybe. I just saved the old mesh as a text file, drug it over to the xml converter and poof! I have a .mesh
  5. I have it lol, But when I drag it over nothing happens.
  6. However I have just noticed, My mesh after editing, Will not open in the Ogre mesh tool, Thats probably the issue, But im trying to figure out how to fix it
  7. I dont think so, I deleted and have redone a dozen times with the same result. Ill keep trying.
  8. I opened it with notepad to edit what paint file it was calling for edited it then saved it. I drag over to ogre xml converter and the put all back in the SMV file. Im sure its something simple im not doing but ive been kicking myself over the past few days over it.
  9. Alright so i followed the tutorial. Copied the truck, mesh, and material file. Renamed the needed files for the new paint, Opened the mesh file edited in notepad as needed, Renamed all files and put back in the smv file (thats where I put all my trucks that arent stand alone) ROR finds the truck, loads the truck, However Only the suspension , wheels, tires, axles, and steering wheel loads. Any help? What could I be doing wrong? The original truck loads fine.
  10. Ive done that, But i want to keep the same truck i edited. I did this. Again for example Bigfoot leafer. Well it switched the paint on that to the outlaw paint. I tried copying all files and renaming as a seperate truck, But didnt work. I guess theres a way to open the original in blender then applying the new paint and repacking it as its own stand alone truck. Not sure, just what I heard lol
  11. Hello everyone, I am not good at making my own blender trucks, But would love to be active in creating some trucks. How could I open an already made truck and change the paint. For example editing and Bigfoot truck and changing the paint to say Jersey outlaw. Not looking to raid anyones hard work if I post i will ask permission from creator. I know alot of the leafers share the same body, so just editing paint would almost make a like new truck.
  12. Yeah Aaron willman has been talking to me and teaching me some pointers. Hope to add something soon!
