  1. With the year coming to a close and the 2016 season drawing ever so near I'd like to take a look back at 2015, specifically the various shows we attended and what we'll look forward to So 2015 started, as every year does, in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. This would be a unique show, the first Atlanta show under the Fox Sports 1 Championship Series and the first year without Chicago style since I've began going in 2007. This would also mark the Atlanta debut of Damon Bradshaw in Monster Energy, the East Coast debut of Donald Epidendio in Titan, and the Atlanta debut of Charlie Pauken in Grave Digger. However the night would belong to Linsey Weenk in Crusader, his first appearance in four years. The show, in all honesty, was a bit of a let down compared to 2014 but still a solid show all around. No the big event of 2015 for me wouldn't even be a competition, but instead a historical meeting. Last year marked the first Summit Motorama event at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Dan Runte and Larry Swim brought two Bigfoot trucks, my first time seeing Team Bigfoot since 2004. How would this be topped? With 12 Bigfoot trucks, every single Bigfoot truck still being used by the team at the same place. Not even mother nature's fury would keep me from this. Not to mention the honor of meeting the two fathers of monsters, Bob Chandler and Jim Kramer themselves was something I will never forget. A parade of trucks, and hundreds of other amazing cars made this another spectacular year at Atlanta Motor Speedway After my usual summer dry spell, I'd get my next taste of monsters of where it all began for me: Dixie Speedway in Woodstock. This year gave perhaps the biggest lineup yet. Team 2Xtreme, Gunslinger, RKMT, and Equalizer Racing gave another phenomenal line up with 2Xtreme Racing sweeping in typical fashion. However some strong performances all around including crazy moves from Brandon Budd and Jimmy Creten gave another great year of action at the "Greatest Show on Dirt" A month later came the end of the year at Tri County Race Track in Brasstown, fittingly the closest show to me. This would mark the return of Stinger and Killer Bee, and my first time seeing Matt Pagilarulo in Jester and the husband and wife team of Jeff and Melissa Gottwald in the Illuminator Ford. Also at this show was Trey Myers who ironically drove Hurricane Force two years prior now working track crew gave me the opportunity to sit into Killer Bee, it was surreal! Matt in Jester would sweep the show, and a dual freestyle with the Jestalade and Stinger would close 2015 in spectacular fashion What's to come in 2016? 2016 looks to be a big year, with the first time of two Atlanta shows already slated, plans to attend both Rich Shaefer shows, and a few other events in the air along with the same stops of 2015 will mean it's gonna be an action packed year. Here's to a great 2015 and to an even better 2016! So what's some stories yall have of shows attended in 2015?
