what happens when the screen on the back of the camera isn't high res enough to see the blur, and the person i borrowed the camera from set it up for me saying "yes this should result in the sharpest photos easily."

loveing aperture was as low as it could go and it was set to long exposure, which essentially translates to "put this thing down and point it at a sunset, idiot".

i hate myself, all these great reference photos ruined.

I give you the most gracious mountain in the Contiguous United States. 14,516 feet of beauty and monstrosity. I've been to Paradise Lodge and Visitor's Center, about 6000 feet up the south flank. Going there is such an experience you can't get anywhere else in the world. Also, what's cool is at Paradise, there is constant water flow in the parking lot. It's a very cool reminder of the ice erosion taking place up the mountain. BTW, see how big it is? It's going to suck once it blows up again, which volcanologist's say WILL happen. Rainier usually has a major eruption around every 500 years, last MAJOR eruption was 560. We're overdue. Scary to think about. If this baby pulls a St Helens, well, let's just say Tacoma will have a second rock the dome (LOL).
