blender second window

Question

I am trying to texture a track i have been working on and am wondering how do i get the second viewing windowopen in blender that you use to texture in blender.

i want to go from one view window like this

Trackpic.jpg

to the 2 view windows like this so i can texture the cars and the track floor

(The chassis in this pic is one from Outlaws chassis pack, i take no credit i just used it as an example of what i am asking how to get)

ok thanks for the response....now how would i go about moving the car on the texture screen and how do i get the texture to stay on the car because the texture appears only if i have the car selected and am in texture mode but as soon as i go into edit or view mode it goes away

thats what i am doing...is the car suppose to go back to grey once you go back into object mode and only show its color if you have the car selected and are in texture paint mode because thats what mine is doing
