While it isn't action shots of a truck at a "testing facility", this was more of a personal project for me. It's nothing big or special. Just something I threw together for the fun of it:

Ten years ago, I had just discovered a community of talented individuals who made an amazing wealth of add-ons for a game titled Monster Truck Madness 2. I started participating in leagues, got involved with the MTM2 community, and learned/develop how to build my own series of tracks. I eventually called myself “Hot Shoe” within the community. It became my persona; my alias.

Eventually I wanted my own custom truck.

Because I was a newbie at the time and did not know how to build/edit/paint trucks, I asked for a stock Bigfoot truck to be repainted for me in a theme of my own design by "Phineus". The result (don't laugh too hard):

After a few years of use, and a few wins, I talked with Alex "Trans Am" Weber of the "Xtreme MTM2 Truck Shop" asking him to make me a more elaborate truck. This eventually spawned two more trucks under the Hot Shoe name, the creation of the Insanity Racing Team, and a friendship I truly hold dear with Alex. Eventually, I was forced to drop the Hot Shoe name on my trucks. It was replaced with a series of trucks I piloted titled "Renegade". But "Hot Shoe" was never forgotten or replaced.

Then, after having discovered Rigs of Rods, and Sim-Monsters.com thanks to Josh Rhodes, I again began to get involved with the community learning and building tracks. Eventually it had to happen: "Hot Shoe" had to be brought back. I'm very happy to say that it has been brought back, with my greatest thanks to Alex "runt9" Vester for reviving my old piece. "Hot Shoe" has been reborn:

I almost didn't realize that this year was ten years since finding/getting involved with the communities of MTM2, and getting my first custom "Hot Shoe" truck. This year, I found/got involved with the community here at SM, and got an updated, revived "Hot Shoe" truck. I truly didn't plan it that way. Thank you for all your support, beta testing, help and co-operation with the projects I've released. Thank you for the fun runs and special events we've had that I participated in thus far.

Whether I make the field or not, I hope you all enjoy yourselves and have fun at Allmonsters Eve 3!

Those were the good ol' days huh Shoe? While not a 10 year anniversary of several trucks in a fleet, I'm happy to have Radio Active back as well. Always feels good to have a truck that you know is just yours, that no one else can run. It eventually becomes pretty special to you. May seem odd or silly, but I know some guys out there know what I'm trying to say.
