CMDeerfoot Posted April 22, 2015 Share Posted April 22, 2015 I've watched Steve since I was a kid, starting back during the TNN Motor Madness days when he hosted with Katie Haas; to me, he was the standard bearer for motorsport reporters. He was an excellent host and his interview skills were second to none; and no matter the version of motorsport he was covering, you could tell that he gave 100% in whatever he was tasked to do. This is not only a loss for the NASCAR community, but the motorsports community as a whole; my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
