water damaged iphone 4s

dose anyone know any tricks to fix a water damaged iphone (i have it in rice now)

if you can, put the phone and rice into a ziplock bag or tupperware container (the point is for it to be air tight). If the phone was dead or off your chances of it surviving without any damage will be great, if not there will be a good chance there will be something wrong with it. Granted I say that and I had an ipod that went through the washing machine, left it in a bag of rice for a week, still worked but the backlight stopped working. I updated it a week or so ago and it re activated the backlight (since it did not work I turned it off) and the freaking light worked.

Just put it in non-seasoned, completely plain rice. That's all I know to fix water damage in electronics,

Leave it in for at least a few days and don't mess with it and hope for the best. I did that when my Samsung Galaxy S2 got a little wet and it worked but it did have some glitches.

My little brother left his i pod touch 5 in a snowbank for a week (frickin twice, don't ask) and we put it in a container of white rice above the heater for a week and it works with no problems,
