https://www.instagram.com/simmonsters/ Overview: On Sunday, I will post the theme for the week. Everyone will have until Friday to submit their screenshots as a reply to this thread. The next day, on Saturday, the winners will be announced via a post on the Sim-Monsters Instagram page. The best screenshot will be featured as the first image, while 2 or 3 more will be included in the post as well. Rules: All trucks must be uploaded on Sim-Monsters. You must use a track or terrain that is uploaded to either Sim-Monsters or the Rigs of Rods repository. Submissions must be at least 1280x720 in size and be in a 16:9 aspect ratio. You must turn name tags off if you are submitting a screenshot from a multiplayer server. Hide the HUD and game chat before taking a screenshot. Minimal edits to include multiple trucks in the same image are always allowed. Edits that add extra effects and details that are not in the original image are only allowed if specified in the theme for that week. Criteria for Selection: Upvotes will help for consideration, but will not be a direct indicator of being selected. Sticking to the theme for that week will help in being selected. High quality screenshots in a high resolution are more likely to be selected. Creativity will always help in the selection process. Submission: You may make 2 submissions per week, but only 1 will be selected if chosen. You may include a link to your Instagram account if you would like to be tagged in the post. If you wish to not include a link to your Instagram account, you will be mentioned by your Sim-Monsters username in the post. Here is an example submission: Be sure to turn your graphics settings up for this, the higher quality screenshot, the better. Shadows, reflection, and particles can greatly improve the look of a screenshot.

You can import mesh files if you convert them to xml files first with the converter that is in the install directory for Rigs of Rods. This is the latest mesh importer for Blender: https://github.com/CuriousMike56/RoROgreAddons You can import and export truck files into Blender with this: https://forum.rigsofrods.org/resources/blender-n-b-import-export-plugin.25/ However be warned, transferring content between RoR and Beam.NG is something that you should be doing if you have permission from the original author. Many problems have been brought up over this so make sure you get permission!

No, Rigs of Rods mods only work with Rigs of Rods and Beam.NG mods only work with Beam.NG.

This event happened last September. Please read threads before signing-up for events.

NAMT trucks that have been released since last year have a different node/beam* than the other V4 trucks on the website. They also have different engine settings, weight, and suspension. These trucks were intended to be more realistic and have been used for NAMT, KOTH, and the Truck Fest. * a node/beam is basically the skeltal structure of the truck. You can see it by pressing K while in Rigs of Rods.

Hey I just want to give you guys a huge shoutout for tonight. This was my first FBS event and it was a blast, I really had a fun time trying to plan out my two runs. GG to Brad, I went hard in the second run but just couldn't fill time. I got to see what FBS was all about in preparing for this event, and I really look forward to whatever you guys have planned next. It's great to see the live stream worked out well too. This is a really cool format for a league and I think there's a great chance to do even more cool match ups and events. I suggest everyone try to compete whenever more events get announced!

I don't intend on changing the requirements too often or too drastically but I would like to keep a balance of about ~15% Platinum, ~25% Gold, and ~60% Silver (not counting Bronze). I feel that this distribution makes the ranks more balanced. Please let me know if I am missing anything, have any names misspelled, or have any incorrect information.

I have noticed many members joining the server have caused the welcome message to be broken, consisting of just their Discord ID. I don't know if these members are able to access the server correctly as a result. If you have tried to join the server and it is not working, send me a PM and we can figure it out. I had one member that had this issue and it appeared to be an issue with their nickname on the site. Regardless, let me know if something isn't working.

I want to officially announce the opening of the new Sim-Monsters Discord server. A few things to keep in mind: You will need to accept the rules in the new servers rules chat before being able to view all the chats. You will have roles assigned to you depending on you role(s) on the site (donator, league official, etc.). Your nickname in the Discord will automatically sync with your name on the site. You cannot change your nickname without changing your name on the site. You can change your nickname here: https://sim-monsters.com/settings/username/ Once the new Discord goes public, the old server will go read only and all invites will be deleted. Once you leave, there is no coming back. To join the new server you can either go to the direct invite or through the sidebar on the homepage Direct link: https://sim-monsters.com/discord/invite/general/

From what I can see, I would try reinstalling RoR and see if the problem persists. If it does I would look for support from Rigs of Rods, either their Discord or their forum. https://discord.gg/rigsofrods https://forum.rigsofrods.org/forums/game-support.8/ Also your RoR.log says you are using 2021.02. If you still have 2020.01 installed, remove that as well. You only need one or the other installed at one time, not both.
