  1. Did you use PasteBin? You should get a link when you make one, copy it and post it here.
  2. Post the contents of the RoR.log file or copy it into a PasteBin link (https://pastebin.com/). Are you on Windows? The most I could see in the Rigs of Rods Discord mentioned it as a problem on Linux.
  3. Do you have a copy of the RoR.log from when that error happened? Also what track and truck(s) were you using?
  4. Hello everyone. I would like to take some time and talk about the current state of Sim-Monsters. There is a lot I want to cover, so this will be a long one. TheMonsterBlog.com Truck Fest Champions This is a bit overdue, but I want to start by congratulating Vincent Akard @Vincent Akard and Chris Bialek @Chris B for their wins at the Truck Fest last September. It took a while, but they both received their respective trophies built by Andrew Wamsley @Wambo and champion’s hoodie provided by TheMonsterBlog.com. The Sim-Monsters Discord Just over 2 years ago we started the official Sim-Monsters Discord and in that time it has amassed nearly 600 users. The Discord has given everyone a great chance to easily chat and discuss amongst each other. However over time, it has ballooned into a Discord server that distracts from the forum itself. The positive of being able to easily and quickly chat has also led to countless instances of toxic behavior, arguments, and issues being blown out of proportion. After discussing as a staff what we wanted to do, we found that our solutions would work best with a fresh start. So, next Friday, February 12th, we will be starting a new Sim-Monsters Discord. On that date we will also be removing all invites to the old server and leaving it in a read-only state. Here are the major changes we are implementing: The new server will only be accessible to members of this website. We have added a new feature to the site to make this possible. By only allowing site members to join the server, we can better ensure who is actually in the server. The new server will have fewer discussion chats. We want to provide a place for everyone to get together and chat. We will be providing a general chat along with chats for monster trucks, sports, and gaming. A suggestion box will be available for anyone to offer ideas or suggestions for anything related to Sim-Monsters. We will continue to have a “Help and Support” chat for fast troubleshooting. Other topic chats for Rigs of Rods, BeamNG, Roblox, and MTM2 will move back to the forum. All leagues will be hosted through this new Discord server. This is probably the most drastic change and more information will be in the next section. Overall, we expect this to streamline access to leagues and information. Why are we doing this? To be frank, the current server was honestly created as a side project, lacking forethought as to what it could become and as such, we realized the increasingly difficult means of managing it in an efficient manner. Aside from that, we think that the changes and integrations proposed will make it work hand in hand with the forum. The forum is a great place to share content and ideas as well as carry out discussions. The greatest value to it is its lasting nature. Tutorials are prominently shown with room for discussion below and support threads can be searched through with more popular questions having already been answered. Plus, who doesn’t want to earn reputation points with the great projects that can be posted in Show Your Projects? Sure, we nearly created all of this in the Discord, but this forum is far more accessible and lasting. All in all we are looking to make better use of this site we have had for over a decade and to provide this community a better channel of discussion. Site Hosted Leagues The purpose of Sim-Monsters.com is to provide a space for the community to gather, make content, and host leagues. However, unlike uploading content or participating in the community, hosting a league on this site is a privilege we afford to those able to handle the responsibility and uphold the reputation of the website and community. We have seen issues arise over the course of the first season RORMJL has hosted on the website and we are addressing these issues with them. Moving forward we will be more active in supervising leagues hosted on the site and will not tolerate any more toxic behavior or troublemaking. This goes for league officials and competitors. Along those lines, we will be implementing changes to how leagues are added to the site and how they can host events. New leagues looking to be added to the site will need to provide a rule book and sheets for events and points tracking. We will also require the league official(s) to host a fun run on the website that is overseen by a member of the staff to ensure competency. Furthermore, all leagues will now host their events in the Sim-Monsters Discord. We will provide a category with the needed chats to host events, along with the roles needed to make announcements and manage competitors. We are looking to work alongside league owners to provide the best solution for everyone, so feedback will be greatly appreciated. The benefits to this are twofold; verified community members will be able to easily join your league section in the Discord server and staff will always be able to take control of a situation that cannot be contained by the league officials. We will be working to ensure that league owners have all the tools needed to effectively run their league in the new Discord server. Sim-Monsters Anti Cheat Update Between the Truck Fest and NAMT, the anti cheat system has proven effective in both verifying that trucks are not being modified and allowing lap times to be posted in a convenient space. I have been working to improve the tool used to swap between using the anti cheat and using the Rigs of Rods API. I am hoping to release a new version of the tool as soon as possible. To further improve the ability to use this in other leagues, I am working on creating a simple web page for league owners to access and use to verify that no one is modifying their trucks or race scripts. Along with this, I am looking to make this page visible to everyone, but only with lap times visible to avoid witch hunts and accusations not being handled appropriately. Here is a preview of the new anti cheat tool: As you can see, it is as simple as I could make it. It will also make sure you are not running Rigs of Rods when trying to switch servers. There is still more work to be done after this is completed, but I hope that these updates will make the anti cheat accessible to all leagues on Sim-Monsters. Rigs of Rods Update (2021.02) Rigs of Rods released an update a few days ago (https://www.rigsofrods.org/download). At the moment, there are a few issues, but otherwise the new version is stable. We are determined to keep the community on the latest stable release of Rigs of Rods, but if you are not interested in dealing with the issues in the 2021.02, you can stay with version 2020.01 for the time being. Both 2020.01 and 2021.02 connect to the same multiplayer servers. Sim-Monsters Moving Forward Last September, Sim-Monsters turned 10 and last November, we passed 7000 members. Last year saw users joining at a peak not seen since 2012, with consistent growth that is greater than any time in site history, however we have the slowest activity on the forum that I can recall. We truly believe that this forum is the best place for this community to discuss, share, and collaborate and we encourage everyone to participate here more. I implore anyone who has an idea, no matter how small, to bring it up in this thread so we can work together to make Sim-Monsters the best it can be. I want to thank everyone on the staff as well as everyone in this community for their efforts to create some of the best free content for the monster truck community at large. I look forward to what we all can achieve moving forward. tl;dr Congrats to Vincent Akard and Chris Bialek for winning the Truck Fest We are moving to a new Discord that is for site members only with less discussion chats. Leagues will host their events in this Discord server as well. New leagues will need to verify that they have the needed documents and sheets to host a league. They will also need to host a fun run monitored by a staff member before being approved. I am working on an update for the Sim-Monsters Anti Cheat tool as well as developing a web page to host the lap times and anti cheat data for league owners. A new stable version of Rigs of Rods was released with a few minor issues (https://www.rigsofrods.org/download). We are strongly encouraging everyone to try and use the forum more for discussion and communication.
  5. @andersongravedigger50 This league closed its sign-ups and has finished its season. Please read the thread before trying to sign-up.
  6. This was made for an older version of RoR and would need to be converted for it to work on the latest version of RoR.
  7. Have you been downloading a lot of files today? Users are only allowed to download 25 files per 24 hour period. So you will need to wait for the cooldown to expire. You are not in trouble, this is just how the site functions.
  8. That's great, but maybe don't reply to a thread from 2012.
  9. Here are the remaining videos from the NAMT 2020 Season.
  10. Please refer to the request guide when making requests.
  11. The second season of NAMT has seen every driver lay it all on the line and with only 1 event remaining, the time has come to determine the champions of the Playoff Series. Last week in Tampa 3 Playoff Drivers could not make the field, leaving an opportunity for some fill-in drivers to step up and prove themselves in a tight 24 truck field. It would be fill-in driver Tim Smith in Titan Warrior defeating Mark Colineri in one of the most dramatic racing finals in Sim-Monsters history, a virtual tie causing a re-race. Then the freestyle competition saw a three way tie for the win as fill-in driver Devin Doss in Deja Vu would share a win alongside Marcus Santana and Vincent Akard. Entering the last event it is Mark Colineri in Wicked Willys who leads Overall and Freestyle Points and dark horse Alex Ferrulo in Pure Muscle who holds the Racing Points lead. The NAMT Playoff Series has been unforgiving on these 12 drivers and tonight will be no different. While the Overall Points chase has tightened to a two man race, Racing and Freestyle Points are a free-for-all. With the dominant showing of fill-in drivers, it will be no easy fight to walk away with a NAMT Championship. The Dirt Track has been prepared for the longest racing course of the season and largest freestyle obstacles yet to be seen by our drivers. After a dominant Regular Season can Trevor Amos or Brandon Adam win a championship? Who will push themselves ahead to earn a Racing or Freestyle Championship? Will more fill-in drivers steal the spotlight and win at the last event of the season? Find out for the final time this week! This is the 12th and final track of the NAMT 2020 Season. I want to thank @AaronLurie and @Edy for all their work making the first 8 tracks and assisting on the final 4 tracks I made. Once again @AaronLurie provided the paint for the track. @Edy provided the house, paying homage to the previous Grand Championship track and 4Corners Coliseum 2015. Really wanted to go out with a bang for the last event, hopefully this lives up to the expectations. The racing design is originally from Mankato Speedway - Criss Crossover-Rama by @Hot Shoe. Jr Seasock was the mind behind the race course style itself. I wanted to bring this classic design back and where better than the last event of the NAMT Playoff Series.
  13. Last week the NAMT Playoff Series kicked off in Orlando, FL and saw 24 of the best tackle an intense racing and freestyle track. With a wild racing layout, only the best were able to move forward in the racing bracket. As always it was Trevor and Brandon who would match up in the finals. Trevor took the victory and evened his record against Brandon. The freestyle track was made up of massive doubles and an enormous pond. After the 12 fill-in drivers tackled the track it was Aaron Lurie who stood in between the Playoff Drivers and a freestyle victory. Almost immediately, Matthew Tyrrell, Jon Zimmer Jr., and Mark Colineri stepped up and took the lead away with 45, 46, and 47 points respectively. Mark Colineri was able to hold on and get the freestyle victory. Leaving Orlando, Trevor Amos lead in Overall Points, with Matthew Tyrell, Mark Colineri, and Brandon Adam right behind. This week, we stay in the state of Florida and return to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Last time we were in Tampa, Trevor Amos won racing and Brandon Adam won freestyle. However tonight's track is very different. In racing, these drivers will line-up alongside the pirate ship, race down the stadium, back up the opposite side, and back down to the finish. Then the freestyle track will leave more room for these drivers to attack every obstacle at every angle possible. Will Trevor Amos continue his two event racing win streak? Who will walk away with a freestyle victory? Which driver will inch themselves closer to a championship? Find out this week! First track of the new year and second to last track of the NAMT 2020 season. Didn't get to have the event in Sam Boyd, so I decided to bring a similar design to Raymond James Stadium.
  15. 10 weeks ago NAMT kicked off its Regular Season, touring across 9 cities, and pushing our drivers to their limits. Early in the season, Brandon Adam was the person to beat, going undefeated in racing all the way until the fourth event of the season. Then it was Trevor Amos who took control of racing, winning three consecutive racing events of his own. Both Brandon and Trevor would trade racing victories for the rest of the season, with Mark Colineri the only other driver to take a racing victory. Trevor would end the Regular Season with the most racing points. Event after event each and every driver laid it all on the line in freestyle, showing off high flying stunts and wild saves and crashes. Early on, freestyle was a free-for-all, with a different winner each event. It was not until the Double Event weekend, that Andrew Sheets would begin a 3 event win streak. However, Brandon Adam's 3 freestyle wins and stronger overall season performance earned him the most freestyle points. Now all attention is on the final 3 events, the NAMT Playoff Series. Starting here in Orlando, the 12 drivers who have earned their spot to compete for 3 championships will begin their battle. However their battle field will be cluttered with 12 additional drivers trying to upset the results. Camping World Stadium has been transformed into a massive monster truck track, where the trucks will roar down from atop the stadium and return back up and down to the finish. The freestyle course has massive jumps with various opportunities for high stakes action. With the points reset to 0 and 12 drivers aiming to get ahead early, who will walk away with an early lead? Can one of the non Playoff Drivers take home a victory? Find out this week! Track: NAMT Orlando, FL 2020 by Danny Mackey Track X: Sign-ups for the season have closed! After a long 9 event Regular Season, NAMT moves into its first Playoff Series. This is the first of 3 tracks for said Playoff Series, sporting a unique racing layout and wild freestyle track. Hope you all enjoy! As always, thanks to @AaronLurie for the track paint and NAMT animations.
  17. Last week in Anaheim, CA, we had some wild racing upsets and freestyle action. In one of the largest upsets of the season, number 16 qualifier Chadwick Deerfoot defeated number 1 qualifier Brandon Adam in the first round of racing. With Brandon out after one race, Trevor Amos and Mark Colineri pushed through the racing bracket and met in the finals. Mark was able to drive his Wicked Willys to his first racing win of the season, and the first by a driver not named Brandon Adam or Trevor Amos. The freestyle competition saw some great freestyle runs, but it was Andrew Sheets who was able to claim his third straight freestyle victory of the season. After the dust settled, three more drivers locked themselves into the Playoff Series; Tyler Richmond, Josh Gajewski, and Vincent Akard. With half the field set and one event remaining, it will surely be a dog fight to see who will fill out the remaining 6 spots. And where better to finish the Regular Season than the massive floor of State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Featuring a massive Chicago style race course and equally large freestyle obstacles, these drivers are going to have to lay it all on the line to get into the Playoff Series. Can Mark Colineri finish his late season push and get into the Playoff Series? Who will upset the field and cost someone a Playoff spot? Can Andrew Sheets continue his freestyle win streak? 19. NAMT 2020 Playoff Series Rules, Explanation, and Preview As we head into the final event of the NAMT 2020 Regular Season, I want to take some time to go over what the Playoff Series is, how it works, and what to expect. What is the NAMT Playoff Series? This is a 3 event series held after the conclusion of the Regular Season. These events will consist of 24 trucks and will determine the Overall, Racing, and Freestyle Points Champions for this season of NAMT. Who will be competing in these Playoff Events? While, 24 drivers will compete in these events, only 12 will be earning points. These 12 drivers "Playoff Drivers" will be the top 12 in Overall Points after the last event of the Regular Season. At the time of writing, 6 of the 12 drivers have been locked in. The remaining 12 drivers will earn their way into the event through open qualifying held along side qualifying for the Playoff Drivers on the day of each event. Who is eligible to qualify for the Playoff Events if they are not a Playoff Driver? Only people who signed up for the league prior to the last event of the Regular Season are eligible to try to qualify for the Playoff Events. As always, every driver looking to compete needs to have an approved truck in order to compete. What else is different for a Playoff Event compared to a Regular Season Event? Aside from the field size of 24 drivers, of which 12 are locked in, Playoff Events will run just as every other event has this season. An event thread will be posted prior to each event detailing dates and times as well as posting the track and track x. When are the Playoff Events? Playoff Event 1: Saturday, December 19, 2020 @ Orlando, FL, USA Playoff Event 2: Saturday, December 26, 2020 @ Charlotte, NC, USA Playoff Event 3: Saturday, January 2, 2021 @ Las Vegas, NV, USA Are special versions of trucks allowed for the Playoff Series? Anyone looking to compete in the Playoff Series is allowed to make 1 (one) variant of their truck that they will use across all 3 Playoff Events. Playoff variants must be uploaded to the website for approval no later than FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2020 @ 11:59 PM est/10:59 PM cst. All trucks must remain on the same chassis with the same suspension and handling as their normal versions. Only color changes, body swaps, and paint changes are allowed. Will freestyle be any different than Regular Season events? Yes, while more information will come during each Playoff Event Driver's Meeting, we will be more relaxed in making RII calls and allowing more stunts to be attempted. Do not expect anything like prior special events this year, but do expect a more relaxed ruleset compared to the Regular Season. I have a question that wasn't answered in this post. Either post your question in the NAMT Discord (http://discord.gg/yMHEzTA) or in the Q&A Thread: Here is the list of drivers locked into the Playoffs: Brandon Adam - Fiberwerx Trophy Truck Trevor Amos - Here's a Picture of Tony Hawk Andrew Sheets - Skeledragon Tyler Richmond - Outbreak Vincent Akard - Piece of Scrap Josh Gajewski - Kontrol Freek Trevor Michalesko - Back Lash Alex Ferrulo - Pure Muscle Marcus Santana - Introvert Jon Zimmer Jr. - Terminal Velocity Matthew Tyrrell - Arctic Shock 2020 Mark Colineri - Wicked Willys

  21. Haven't kept up with this thread in a while, here are some videos from the 2018 season.
  22. After taking a week off for Thanksgiving, NAMT returns to action in Anaheim, CA to kick off the final stretch of the season. In our double event weekend before the break, we saw Brandon Adam get his second Double Down of the season, Trevor Amos pick up a racing victory, and Andrew Sheets earn two freestyle victories. As a result, all three drivers have locked themselves into the NAMT Playoff Series. We'll be sure to keep an eye on Tyler Richmond, Josh Gajewski, Vincent Akard, and Trevor Michalesko, as they are likely to get locked in sometime over the next two events. This week's track has a unique take on the traditional So-Cal style racing course, with a long straight away that snakes back to a table top finish. The freestyle course has a variety of obstacles that should provide some big air and technical challenges for these drivers. Now with only 9 spots remaining, who will be next to lock themselves into the Playoff Series? Can Andrew Sheets continue his freestyle win streak? Will we see a new driver win racing? This track was made by @Edy for NAMT. He wanted me to upload it for him. I just added the checkpoints.
  24. Just last night we saw fast racing action and wild freestyle crashes as Brandon Adam was able to get back to his winning ways. After not having won racing for two weeks, Brandon's Fiberwerx Trophy Truck returned to the winner's circle in racing, defeating Andrew Sheets in the finals. The freestyle competition saw Damian Bowers in Untapped Rage holding an early lead through most of the night as the New Orleans freestyle track ended run after run early. After Tyler May tied Damian for the lead, it was Andrew Sheets who took hold of the lead. However, not satisfied with one win on the night, Brandon Adam would go back on the track and lay down a run that would tie Andrew Sheets for the win. Andrew earned his second freestyle win of the season while Brandon Adam earned his second Double Down of the season. With that Brandon made himself the first driver to lock themselves into the NAMT Playoff Series. With the second night of this double event weekend, we are in Houston, TX with a Chicago style racing course with a massive table top that these drivers will start out on. With more room on the floor for freestyle will these drivers have an easy time filling the clock? As the season winds down, who will take the 11 remaining Playoff spots? Find out this week!
