    Max-D 2020-2021

Your work is continuing to get better, the chain limit straps are a nice touch, just wish the finishing work on these was better, truck feels a bit odd when landing, could possibly be a node issue or just .truck file settings that need tuning(see Johans Max-D pack as a reference for handling)  and we still don't have shock towers on a truck being built in 2021? We can do better..... not to mention textures on the coils is a bit funky at times. Maybe take more time polishing up the work before deciding to make 10 different versions of the truck, its cool to have, but if the underlying truck isn't great, it affects the versions without hoods where you can clearly see the shocks floating. Simple stuff like that deserves your time as it will make the overall product better. Edit: On closer review, no textures on either the brake pedal or the gas.... and you have a floating tube holding gauges, 2 stars at best, for the work other people did to make this truck good, and for the chain limiting straps. I dont want to make you feel like I'm just trying to knock you down, because I'm not, but you can do better.

Modelling needs some work, but painting is where this track truly suffers the most. Dont get me wrong, it will work for its intended purpose as most of your work does. But the paint truly is a sore spot to me, understanding photo editing software is a clear next step for you imo. That being said, the racing ramps drive like nobody tested them before release, and most of the ramps just feel awkward to hit. Play testing a beta version of your tracks with people who arent going to just tell you "omg its great bro" "this is fantastic" and actually point out the flaws is where your work will become better. I cannot stress the importance of play testing any track you make enough. These tracks are meant to be replicas, but at the end of the day, this is still a game and the tracks need to be enjoyable to drive on without goofy issues like the racing lanes throwing the nose of your truck into the dirt.

  1. Paints all look great, its truly unfortunate that the chassis mesh and surrounding parts are so lackluster, the concussion logo in the cradle is just sad, we have much better versions around that could have been easily swapped into the cradle, aaannnnd static coils just seems like a cop out on an otherwise good piece. There are definitely times I believe too much detail isn't always necessary, but this is not one of those cases.

  2. Finally got around to driving the truck, overall the handling of the truck is good, and the 10ft rule makes this truck look pretty darn solid, but as you get closer I noticed a lot of issues with little things on this truck, including the god awful shaky truck syndrome, which should not still be showing up on finished projects, and a breather tube going from the valve cover to the transmission? And its not even a closed cylinder? The stuff that I can tell you actually did on this truck was sloppy and rushed. It could be done a whole lot better. Also, doesn't use the mini template so that's a lot of points off in my book. I'm not one to push people to make things perfect, but you could have at least tried a bit harder to make sure things are at least finished.

Well hey, I think overall this truck is really awesome, you did a good job getting some cool detail into the truck. However, it feels like you focused a lot of detail into the wrong places, multiple different oranges and even some red where there shouldn't. I know its really hard to stay motivated when people leak your work. My suggestion? Send pics, don't give your work to anyone until its ready. I don't want to sound pandering of course, but it really is that simple.... that or get a different friend group who wont send out your work? Either way, it's good, but could be a lot better if you put the time into the little stuff.

I'd still suggest if you decide to take on some more replicas, to bevel the edges because having hard edges doesn't look the cleanest, and remember, dirt will lose its shape over time, so making things a tad bit more rounded in those places will make the ramps smoother as well! But overall the work is solid once again!

I'm really glad to see you taking the constructive criticism and being able to improve your work with it, the track looks a lot better and it's awesome to see someone going out of their way to improve as a content creator! Keep up the good work man! Your work will only get better with time, cant wait to see what you work on next.

Honestly for a first public release, this is a pretty darn good track, I'd suggest going out of your way to make sure things are 100% scaled correctly. Also work on smoothing out your ramps a bit more, things look very steep and edgy, beveling can make a huge difference in this regard. As for texturing, I'd suggest not just erasing the colors when making the freestyle version, I'd also suggest burning away the colors, or de-saturating the colors because as the event goes on, the color does fade from the ramps a lot. If you have any questions about these critiques, feel free to message me, and I can explain further. Keep em coming!

  3. For what it is, I suppose this pack isn't too bad, however there are a lot of small things that really need addressing, lines coming off the Radiators and Trans coolers could definitely be made better, also not sure what you did with the spec's and shine's but the belt on the motor has a pink shine to it in some light. Also probably the most annoying thing I found which is pretty silly to me is that the Miss Over Bored should not have the same sponsor panel as Over Bored. I'll give you the benefit because your pc is "dying" but whenever you get the chance I'd like to see all of this being addressed to make it a more solid pack. I think you have the potential but you need to take the time to really fine tune the trucks.
