    Grave Digger XIV

    Version 1.0.0

    212 downloads

Grave Digger XIV was a monster truck built and driven by Dennis Anderson in 2001, and continued to operate under different drivers from 2004 to 2010. After winning the World Finals Freestyle Championship in 2000, while having a sub-par head-to-head track record all season, Dennis decided to build Grave Digger XIV as a way to increase racing performance, and maintain freestyle performance after leaving Grave Digger VII. The truck debuted in 2001. Although having not won Dennis any Championships, this build is most famous for being piloted by Dennis during his 20th Anniversary season in 2002. Dennis later passed the truck down to Grave Digger and Blacksmith driver Carl Van Horn in 2004, while Dennis relocated to the freshly built Grave Digger XIX, which won him the World Finals Racing Championship that year. A project that required much patience, much time, much effort, and a whole lot of people. A lot of fun to make, besides some ups and downs that may have been had. Glad to have been able to step up my truck making game with this! Got in a painty mood, was pretty fun! Everything is hand painted from just about scratch, besides the headlights. Just gotta extend the cab and add the USHRA logo, but I'm probably gonna wait until I finish some other projects up before I work more on this.

Test build of Avenger 2004. Probably one of the last things I do before I leave for a while to finish summer work that I've been slacking on.

I've been seeing some of the trucks you've been making, and I can't say I'm anything less than impressed with the quality of your content. Keep up the great work man!

Paint looks really cool, dude. Only thing I suggest is a fiberglass texture on the inside of the body, but that might be a lighting issue. Other than that, this may be your best work yet. Well done man!

    Grave Digger The Legend Repli-Custom

Uh, yeah you could actually, you could take a pic of a truck that isn't yours and pass it off as what people are getting. Not saying you did but your point is incorrect, sir. Not to mention, your response to the one review.. it doesn't matter if the truck you used had a 5 star rating, doesn't mean yours is good. The props are also not up to date, as the engine is 2 years old, the radiators and the fuel cell are older, when new ones were just recently released earlier this year. But you believe what you want to believe since you seem to have an answer for everything.

    Grave Digger The Legend Repli-Custom

Really nothing more than putting Andrew's Legend body on the 34 chassis, with almost no differences besides a recolored chassis and beadlocks.

Yeah I was informed of this. I'm a little rusty on my 14/18 differentiating. Thanks.

Maybe I'm wrong, it looked slightly different but the more I look at it the more similarities I find. Might fit it in at some point, but the paint needs to be redone.

I actually considered it but from the looks of it, that's actually 18 (I think), which also ran a PEI.

Yeah, I took a break from other projects. Yeah, I made a Grave Digger. Yeah, it's 14. Yeah, someone else already made one. But I still made my own. I wanted to give back to the community after that godawful 20th Anniversary paint I did in late 2016. No point in hiding it. I had already wanted to do 14, but (insert melodramatic rant about life) happened. So, I hope that this and the hand-painted Avenger I did is enough to be able to put that behind me. The pack will include all of the 14s that were driven by Dennis: 2001, 2002, and 2003. Just gotta delete some unnecessary files and touch up around any unseen edges (if there are any) and it's ready to go! Avenger, Destroyer, and Inferno are still being worked on. EDIT: I have been informed that the final version pictured is actually 2004, not 2003. This will be fixed tomorrow and the pack will now include Randy Brown's 2004 Digger 14 as well as Dennis's 2003!

Kozak provided me with some really good ref pics of Dan Evan's second Destroyer chassis, so all the beautiful paints @worldfinals has been making will now have a home!

Download either paint.net, GIMP, or Photoshop from their respective websites. Open the texture image in one of these programs and paint over it to your liking. Follow the cloning tutorial on here under the tutorials section so it doesn't overwrite other files.

Okay, I've been ignoring you but I'm gonna step in here. Why do you keep going back to people's "attitudes" when the situation is clearly about someone ripping ramp models from another track? It's the internet, and you're on a site full of older teenagers and young adults, get used to it. What I'm gathering here is that ABgamerX supposedly ripped ramps from another track, and when he was accused of it this whole argument exploded about whether it's okay to do it, but give credit, or if it's not, because it isn't something that people were given permission to use. You started off supporting JUICY TOES's statement of: "Who cares who made one, as long as credit is given. Atleast someone is trying to get out tracks for the community." But here we are, and you're now supporting Andrew, who is countering the same argument you started off agreeing with, by saying that he doesn't release content because of people only thinking of it as content and disrespecting the time and effort he and others put into their work. And now you're trying to tell us about our attitudes? On the internet? This isn't you and your little clique of friends, dude. Your argument, whatever argument you were trying to form or support, is now null and void, since you now supposedly support both sides of the argument.

A personal project of mine that started around January had to be temporarily shelved due to increasing amounts of schoolwork and personal life/mental health issues that piled up overtime. A Dodge RAM/PEI combo was the original plan for the Perpetual Destruction 2 build, but I ended up scratching it due to time constraints. This was also supposed to be my NAMT ride, but Sundays were not optimal for me, and I lost the want to compete due to reasons mentioned above. I finally got around to finishing it. I'm really happy with how it came out, and I think it definitely shows that hours of work were poured into this truck. I'll probably be releasing this with rebuilds of Perpetual Destruction 1 and 2 and Fuel Injection 1 and 2, with the original bodies and chassis.

While Avenger is awaiting to be fixed, I figured I'd reboot another project that's been in the works for a long time now. WRA Season 2, anyone? I had actually asked Blaise to make a Grave Digger 3 chassis specifically for Nitro/Inferno, but he had went ahead and made Grave Digger 3. Big thanks to him for having a N/B setup already done as well as making the beautiful chassis! EDIT: At the request of @Mr.Yeet the headers have been fixed to more closely resemble the actual truck.
