    Well since this truck desperately needed a revamp, here it is, the 2013 and 2016 versions of Captains Curse. The headers are probably wrong, since Blender won't let me "import more than 16 materials :P" Other than that, I think it's pretty much done: EDIT: I corrected the tires on the 2013 version so now it has Ukraines instead of Goodyears:

    Since when has this truck ever been a replica? Unless you have proof that it's a replica, then this is considered a custom
  3. ROR Version

    I prefer to use version .38.67, I honestly think that 4.7 is trash, mainly because of the sh!t steering. If you have any .3 versions, then you do have more access to more maps, and I like the handling and graphics better on those versions. However everyone is starting to move over to .4 (idk why, nor care, lol). I highly recommend either .38 or .39, but if you really want 4.6, then imo, it's the best .4 version out there.   6. invisible parts on truck .39

    I know how to fix this problem, it happens a lot with quite a few of Fern Bern's trucks, I'm actually planning on making a tutorial on it soon for my You Tube channel, I'll edit this post when it's uploaded (That is if I can remember since I have the attention span of a squirrel, lol). But for now I'll try to explain the best I can. First of all, open up your .truck file and scroll down to all of the truck props. When you see lines that say things like these: ;front ;rear or any other lines in the props section that don't have number coding or whatever. What I did was delete the ;front, ;rear, etc. lines entirely. DON'T delete any lines in the props section that has numbers or a mesh file name. And don't change any mesh files around. When you're done, save changes, place the truck back in the zip, then it should appear visible. If it's still invisible, then make sure you don't have the same zip file in a different ROR folder in that version, if that doesn't work, then try regening the cache. If you can't understand what I mean, then you might wanna wait until I post the tutorial.     Honestly use what you're most comfortable with. Sure photoshop might give you more options, but if you're not familiar with it, then it's easy to get lost, lol.

    Thousand Foot Krutch is my favorite band, but here are some other favorites: Metallica Shinedown AC/DC Saliva Nickelback Three Days Grace Volbeat All Good Things Imagine Dragons Cult to Follow Leader Downplay Disturbed Adelitas Way Skillet Chevelle Daughtry Fable Five Finger Death Punch Linkin Park Starset Slipknot Trapt Discrepancies I personally find All Good Things, Cult to Follow, Leader, Downplay, Fable, and Discrepancies to be underrated bands, trust me, you'll love them, lol

    Don't ask if things are gonna be released or not, it makes you seem impatient and want these trucks ASAP, and content creators don't really like that. Also, try not to quote pics when making a post, it kinda clogs (probably not the right word, idk, lol) up the thread. Not bad so far, but just a few things, if you're going for a replica track, where you have the tires, logs, and other obstacles on the ramps, make sure you color those in with not just the ramp paint. Try to make them a darker orange, also for freestyle, don't make the logs and tires, etc. the same color as the dirt. I couldn't find any reference pics, so I hope this video will help:

    You need to pay attention when you give the credits, since you did copy and paste it into this file. It says "Built by Me" very often, and I know for a fact that you did not create the track, you just converted it, lol. I'd recommend fixing the credits by replacing the words "Me" with "Hot Shoe" since he made the track. Just a suggestion.
  13. Blender Texture Problems

    So this is a problem that I have been having for awhile for a few .blend files. Some friends asked me if I could export their tracks into the game. So when they send me their .blend files, their textures just disappear and everything appears pink. The program still says that the png, jpg, etc. textures are still in the .blend file, but the pictures don't show up, causing the track to look pink. And I noticed how in the stadium track models in the scrapyard section, the textures appear when you import them. Is there a way to keep the original textures when sending the .blend files to other people?

    On any of the .3 versions, you almost never have that many white textures, but if you do have them, then do what I do and extract all truck zip files into the vehicles folder. I will say if you choose .4, these white texture problems are WAY more common, and if you have .3, the game might crash more often.

    Here's my very first track that I'm uploading to Sim Monsters. If there are any any issues with the track then PLEASE let me know so I can try to fix them. Otherwise, enjoy And Yes, This Track Will Work For Both .3 and .4 Versions Of ROR Racing explained: Basically, the start line is the finish line, and you pretty much do 2 full circles around the track. (I wanted to do something unique for racing) Freestyle: A few cross-threads are not smooth and might send you straight back (Specifically hitting the jammer sideways and hitting the triple from the inside of the racing lanes (You'll see what I mean) that's staying the way it is, lol). Also, the buses might grab you if you floor into it in 2nd gear, you'll have more than enough speed to clear it if you floor it in 1st gear. I think that's all I had to say, so I hope you guys enjoy, and here are the credits (If I missed anyone or gave the wrong credits, then please let me know so I can fix thm) Credits: Stadium Model: Maxdman, Klayton, HotShoe Track Paint/Ramp Designs: Me Red/White/Blue Car and Red/Blue Bus Models: RockCrwlr White Bus Model: Unknown (Gar Gar Han Han gave me the models)

    MURICA!!! F*** YEAH!!! Practice: (Might remove the turn cars for the practice version, idk, I'll leave that up to you guys ) Racing: Racing Layout: (Was originally gonna make it East Rutherford style, but I wanted to do something kinda unique.     idk if this will work for you since I have .38, but for it to work for me, I usually need to enable the HUD to type. Try doing that, if that doesn't work, then idk

    If you're wondering what happened to my El Paso track, it will be released at some point, I just gotta convert it to .4. But I made this custom Dodger Stadium Track with a unique race layout, which involves going over the bus ramp, making one full turn around the fun box made of buses, then go for the finish line (which I forgot to add ). Besides that and fixing the crush cars in freestyle a bit, it's pretty much done: I tried to make the tabletop look muddy after a truck lands in the pool, kinda like at WF18, and this is as close as I got

  21. Blender dds error

    So I'm making a custom El Paso track that was from the blend stadium file here in the track making section. And for some reason, when I exported the finished track, it claims it was missing a dds file as shown: But it was in the zip file. What I originally did was I went into each individual image in that blend file and then saved them into a folder (And I repeated that process like 30 times for each individual image -.-). all png's/jpg's are working properly. However, it turned out that all of my dds files were f'd up when I saved them from blender. I can't even open them up to view the picture, and I can't even get it to open in paint.net or else this appears: If someone might know how to fix this problem, then PLEASE let me know because I wanna test my track so badly (My track is in SYP 59 page 14 in case you're curious). EDIT: The image still shows up fine in Blender, which is really weird. EDIT (Again): Someone already told me to try to convert it to a png and that didn't work either

    Give this guy a break. This is one of his first trucks he's repainted. Do I think it should've been on something other than a v4? Yes. But I will make some points. I love the paint for this truck and he's made some other awesome paints as well. Another point that you guys should also consider is that the closest body style to an ambulance we have on Sim-Monsters is the v4 Ice Cream Man (unless there's a custom body that we're missing, in which case let us know so we can make it better, lol). There are some other Ice Cream Man trucks out there, but they're all private. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't even have that much experience yet in Blender, so his resources were kinda limited. It's a great looking truck, and I hope you guys that are giving bad reviews on this truck will take these points into consideration.
