As I usually do with leagues I host, I like to maintain a news and information thread that will offer you all a list of links to various information and content you could need that relates to NAMT.  I will post updates here as we move along, but this thread will be locked at all times.  If you have any questions there will be a Q&A thread posted that will allow you all to ask as many questions as you may need.

Alright, after some thought and consideration I have decided to require limiting straps on all trucks running in NAMT.  The required edits can be seen in the rule book or in the NAMT 2018 Custom Truck Modification Rules thread.

Additionally, I have redone the way points will be allotted during events.  The updates can, once again, be seen in the rule book, but I will also post them here.  Going forward you will be scored out of 50, as was planned, but you will earn points for the event based on where you finish.

Racing Competition:

Winner:			+16 Points
Final Round Loser:	+15 Points
Round 3 Loser:		+12 Points
Round 2 Loser:		+8 Points
Round 1 Loser:		+4 Points

Freestyle Competition:

Winner:			+16 Points
2nd:			+15 Points
...etc...
16th:			+1 Point
  1. Points allotted to a driver will depend on their placement after each event from 16 to 1.
    1. In the event of a tie, all tied drivers will earn the same amount of points.  The next driver that is not tied will earn the amount of points they would have earned had all drivers ahead of them had not tied.

Any questions, comments, or concerns may be sent privately to me on PM, over Discord, or in the Q&A Thread.

Well I just can't help but change everything about this league on the daily.  New logo for the league, went for a simpler design that wasn't so SSRS.  Take a look, sorry if you already put it somewhere on your truck.  Hope you guys like it too!

Hey everyone, just about two weeks before the first event of the season.  With that, I want to go over some of the trucks that I have either not yet received to be approved or I am waiting for an updated version.

Remember that you have to have your truck approved by the day before (Saturday) each event (Sunday) in order to be able to compete.

So far out of the 33 sign-ups, 13 are approved to race, 6 require edits and resubmission, and 13 have not been sent to me.

The following people have to resubmit their trucks for approval:

@Mark Colineri

@Swegliner849

@warmachine

@Tylinater

@Irishbulldog422

@bofos

The following people have not sent me a truck to be approved:

@CIDRA racer

@Jackson B

@Josh Gajewski

@Jackattack29

@tyrannos

@billothepillow

@XmaxxDXx

@Outlawed

@leggster

@MasonThompson

@tddtwid

@Joey 🅱

@carkiller458

@Andrew

Just remember, the first event is Sunday, June 3rd, so if you want to race week one, you need to have your truck approved by Saturday, June 2nd.

I've converted @Double.D ッ 's Motorsports Pack to be a standalone .4 pack.  I also added a NAMT version that you guys can use.

If you do not change the shocks2 settings, they are all approved to run.  So if you still need a truck for NAMT, feel free to use any of these.

I may be converting some more open customs if I have the time and feel it's necessary.

After some thought, I've brought back the Qualifier Points System that's been used in MROR and SSRS.  Here's how it works:

Points will be earned by the following:

Qualifiers 17-20:	+4 points
Qualifiers 21-24:	+3 points
Qualifiers 25-28:	+2 points
Qualifiers 29-32:	+1 point

Points may be used for the following:

2 points:	Additional qualifying pass*
4 points:	Two additional qualifying passes*
8 points:	Automatically locked into event**

*You can either apply 2 points for 1 pass or 4 points for 2 passes (i.e. 6 points for 3 passes is NOT ALLOWED).
**Cannot be applied to Grand Championship Event.

A full list of Qualifiers and their points can be found here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1H6fYAvcg8DTJnSBH9IAmlmirykpT5GRWm1-evbmqBbE/edit#gid=1477468076

In order to use Qualifying Points, you must message an official prior to your qualifying pass.  If you qualify into the event on your first two passes, you do not keep the points you used.  Either post in that event's thread or message me on Discord!

Well after 8 weeks of competition NAMT is about to reach its last event of the season, the Grand Championship.  For NAMT's inaugural Grand Championship we will be heading to Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.

The event will be held one week from today, August 5th, and will have a 24 truck field.  As stated in the Rule Book, the Top 24 in Overall Points are locked into this event.

The Top 24 are as follows:

  1. Will Meyer @iZonarYT
  2. Andrew Sheets @Andrew
  3. Jon Zimmer @JonnyZimmer2
  4. Blake Thompson @Mr.Yeet
  5. Matthew Tyrrell @LordFrosting
  6. Seth Holloway @SethHolloway1
  7. Kyle Wilson @QuadGod
  8. Marty Hussey @billothepillow
  9. Fernando Martinez @fernBurn
  10. Marcus Santana @AwesomeKong13
  11. Aaron Lurie @AaronLurie
  12. Julio Vellon Jr. @monsterjamcod0329
  13. Josh Gajewski @Josh Gajewski
  14. Chadwick Deerfoot @CMDeerfoot
  15. Julian Baumann @Monsterboss3
  16. Blair Lockhart @Dantesinferno52
  17. Brandon Scalf @baggerman19

  21. Damian Bowers @CIDRA racer
  22. Mark Colineri @Mark Colineri
  23. Chris Bialek @Chris B
  24. Zach Nicholas @Zach Nicholas

IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT ON AUGUST 5TH, MESSAGE ME ON DISCORD (DannyMackey#5142).

As for everyone else, if someone in the Top 24 tells me they cannot compete before qualifying opens on August 5th, the person who is 25th in overall points will be locked in.  This will continue as needed.

For example:

  • If Aaron Lurie cannot compete in the Grand Championship and tells me before qualifying opens, then Joey Burgy (#25 in Overall Points) will be locked into the event.
    • Additionally if Julio Vellon Jr. cannot compete as well and tells me before qualifying opens, then Devin Doss (#26 in Overall Points) will also be locked into the event.
  • HOWEVER, if Aaron Lurie and/or Julio Vellon Jr. do not message me and do not make a qualifying pass, then there will be 2 open spots for Fill-In Qualifiers.

Fill-In Qualifiers will consist of anyone who has made a qualifying pass this season for any Regular Season Event.

A full list of Fill-In Qualifiers can be seen here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1H6fYAvcg8DTJnSBH9IAmlmirykpT5GRWm1-evbmqBbE/edit#gid=2104550932

More points will be available for this event, they will be distributed by the following:

Racing Competition:

Winner:			+24 Points
Final Round Loser:	+23 Points
Round 4 Loser:		+20 Points
Round 3 Loser:		+16 Points
Round 2 Loser:		+12 Points
Round 1 Loser:		+8 Points

Freestyle Competition:

Winner:			+24 Points
2nd:			+23 Points
...etc...
24th:			+1 Point
  1. Points allotted to a driver will depend on their placement after each event from 24 to 1.
    1. In the event of a tie, all tied drivers will earn the same amount of points.  The next driver that is not tied will earn the amount of points they would have earned had all drivers ahead of them had not tied.

For anyone looking to run a custom scheme for the Grand Championship Event, you must have a finished version sent for approval by Saturday, August 4th at midnight EST.

If you have any questions, you can message me on Discord (DannyMackey#5142), private message me on here, ask in the NAMT Discord Server, or the Q&A Thread.
