mjkproductions
the stock sounds only suit a few trucks vs the broad range of exhaust setups that trucks actually run. Gonna have your standard down sweep zoomies, upturned zoomies (digger 20, scarlet bandit), magnaflow muffler and collector (bigfoot, razin kane) I decided to start making sounds for all the trucks a few months back, and noticed that in the V4 folder there's tons of sound packs for most of the exhaust types, yet they were never implemented. I'm just curious, to whoever worked on the pack, why not?
tweak740
anyway we could get a preview of the sounds?

RobbieMilburn
I'm just saying I prefer stock sounds. Most new "custom" sounds just don't sound natural to me. No offense meant, just personal opinion.
Patriotic Canadian
that's because most 'new' sounds are just chopped up from a thousand youtube videos, you'd need a proper mic and a real truck to get decent sounds that are actually kind of proper
RobbieMilburn
And that's why I prefer default sounds.

Eric
Blower hat filter is too bright, it's an duller orange in RL looks nice though. But whats up with the red Lucas oil diamond plated blowerbelt guard?

Patriotic Canadian
the cover looks almost iridescent, pretty easy to do in ROR too that belt looks really fat to me, might be the perspective, but i'd thin that right down if i were you also, is it me or is that texture styling looking really TF2ish. i kind of like it
Eric
Honestly PC, I'd have to disagree with you on the blower belt their quite thick in real life, I have a few myself at home off of different motors.
MonsterJam2008
also, is it me or is that texture styling looking really TF2ish. i kind of like it I wouldn't mind a slightly Cell-Shaded look. It would probably look really good within the limitations of the RoR engine.
mudtrucks-rule
Honestly PC, I'd have to disagree with you on the blower belt their quite thick in real life, I have a few myself at home off of different motors. the belt is actually quite thick the teetrer totter runs the same motor as a monster truck and there thick so i think it looks fine
