Here we are, back again with another installment of Hump Day Shootout! This week, we invade the biggest track every created for Rigs of Rods Monster Truckin'. When this course was first released, it proved to be the biggest challenge the drivers have ever faced. In my opinion, this has not changed. We hope to see some fierce competition, but hopefully nothing will come easy.

The link to the track can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?hz4rc0irk4cw923

A few times will be adjusted, due to the size of the venue and the time it takes to run the course.

Qualifying will be held from 3 P.M. EST to 5 P.M. EST.

As in previous weeks, the 16 top qualifiers make the field.

The AIM chat will go up at 6 P.M. EST.

Any V4 truck can be used. If it is a custom truck that isn't of your making, make sure you have permission from the owner to run it.

The rules for the event are as follows:

  • No practice will be given when you come in to qualify.
  • You will be given one redo, only if you have a major screw up. But, here is the catch. If you mess up, and it isn't a roll over, YOU MUST COMPLETE YOUR PASS. If you mess up(spin out, hit a pole, etc.), turn and drive right on back to the start line, your redo will be negated. Once you complete your pass, you will be told you can redo if need be.
  • If you AIM either one of us to qualify, don't leave your computer.
  • During the event, you will have 2 minutes to get in game after you are called in.
  • Hitting turn poles only hurts you. No time penalty will be assessed.
  • Crossing the center line is a DQ.
  • The finals will be best 2 out of 3.
  • Freestyle runs will be 2:30 minutes long due to the extreme size of this weeks tracks.
  • Listen to the officials, they have the power to remove you from the event at any given moment if such action is required.
  • Finally and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Here is my sign-up, Chadwick and I must pick before anyone else can.
