Question about driving

Yup, that was me. Lowering the ride height is simple. Open up the .truck file in Notepad and scroll near the bottom until you find these lines that you should see this around "line 970". This setup is from a stock v4 truck.

There's many numbers here that do different things, but like I said in that statement, all I know how to do is lower the ride height. The last numbers, 1.0 are the suspension height for the front and rear of the vehicle. The first two lines are the rear suspension and the last two lines are the front suspension. Anything over 1.0 is too high. Anything under 1.0 and higher than 0.7 should be good. I believe changing the ride height to 0.7 and below crashes the game. I like my truck set to around 0.9, but I also experiment with setups that other people have put on their trucks.

1.0 is pre compression, it basically is how much the suspension sags into its travel when you spawn into the game. You can lower the number but eventually you will hit a point where the suspension will break and the truck will either be undrivable or crash the game. The lower the truck sits, the lower centre of gravity it has, thus the faster you could drive because the weight is less likely to upset the truck turning. I have never run any lower then 0.9 because anyone who knows the shocks2 line knows how to properly lower the truck using the other numbers.
