About This File

Hello Everyone!!

(can only be ran on newest ROR to my knowledge)

This is my first try at a true Repli-Custom.

Idk if these can be run in leagues so I would ask your league owner!

I love the Blue Thunder trucks and wanted to see how each body would look on @John Dough's new F150 Bodies

If there are any issues and if I forgot anyone for credit please let me know!!

Built Ford Tough is top file

New Blue Thunder is Bottom File

RII Lights= CTRL +1/2/3/4

Really  nice job on the Blue Thunder paint, however, it feels like an odd choice to leave the head lights and grill completely un-textured. I LOVE the RII lights, having them blink on ctrl-3/4 is a cool feature. Below the body the truck is a bit of a mess though. There is no transfer case at all so the drive shafts are just floating in the air. Rear sway bar is floating as well and the links are off. Front swaybar is pretty close. Most props are missing shine textures. There are a bunch of props which are just plain black like the top part of the engine and fuel and the power switches. I think the biggest issue though is the massive amount of unused files in the .zips which ramps these two trucks up to a whopping 227mb combined. The truck does drive really nice though. It's fast and very stable in the corners.

I will fix these ASAP, I left the headlights alone because I couldn’t find a good png of a headlight to put there and I felt the grill looked better grey (and I couldn’t get it to change colors). I will also go through each file to make them smaller and I will see what I can do with fixing the props. I need to figure out how to attach the driveshafts and I was pretty sure all the textures are there but I’ll double check everything on the next update. I threw both trucks together in a span of 4 hours combined 😬😅 and I didn’t  realize how bad some of the parts actually are. Thank you for the advice!

I really like the handling of the truck, the design looks neat (especially on the BFT Blue Thunder), and the concept is pretty cool. I'm no expert on trucks, but this pretty nice!

Response from the author:

I really hope you aren’t trying to use trucks from Sim-Monsters for Beam.NG because all of this stuff is for Rigs of Rods not Beam

Amazing job, wish the grill was more real but seeing another comment about it was understandable, but will there be a blank model for customs?spacer.png
