  1. Shane Grunseth, who has history crewing for Tim Mente, has purchased the old Metal Monster truck from Alien Motor Speedway in NM, and is planning on running it. I don’t know the trucks whole history, but I do know it’s the original Shockwave chassis as well. Will be neat to see it back out there.
  2. Kicking & Screaming is actually Thomas Kimmons' truck, which was formerly ThrillBilly. In other news, JR Seasock has purchased the Temporarily Insane truck, and will be making it into Playn' Hookie, which he ran on Donny Hebert's J&B chassis. Conversly, Donny Hebert got the Temporarily Insane name & body from JR, and debuted it on his new look orange chassis J&B, which he got from Tim Mente, and has previously ran as Tank, Tyrone the Terrible, Heavy Medal, Cold Blooded, and Playn' Hookie. A few other quick updates, The Groths are staying at 4 trucks, as it has been said they will be selling or retiring the Double Trouble SUR chassis and replacing it with the brand new CRD chassis. The Groths also still have a brand new Concussion chassis that was originally built to be the Veteran for sale. They also sold Rockstar 2 to Jerrod Compton. It also appears Bigfoot is sticking to fielding 4 of their own trucks, those being 18, 19, 21 and the brand new 23 as 15 is not currently running. Roger Gauger will once again be running a Bigfoot body, and Josh Baumgartner joins the club running a Bigfoot body on his own on his brand new Eddie chassis that he is finishing up. Lastly, the Robbins built a brand new Eddie chassis for Krazy Train, and it is said the old chassis was sold to former KT driver Lloyd Twitchell.
  3. Another quick update, the Groth bros are once again adding to their fleet, building a brand new CRD. It is unknown whether they are expanding to 5 trucks, or replacing one of their current 4. They currently have 2 SUR chassis', a KCM and a Dark Knight chassis. Travis's SUR chassis will be running as Maximus for 2024 Q1. Jamey Garner also expanded, building a brand new Eddie chassis. This one will be the red Over Bored that Chad Tingler will pilot for 2024. It's once again unknown if they are retiring a truck or expanding; this puts him at 6 trucks: 4 Eddies,a cohen, and a concussion. It has been said that the concussion will return to competition in the summer of 2024; his next oldest truck is the Cohen, which debuted in 2016.
  4. The Zimmers have returned to monster trucks after a short hiatus over the late summer/early fall, now owning their own trucks. They are building a brand new Concussion chassis which I believe will be a clone of the original Terminal Velocity chassis to be of course Terminal Velocity. They also purchased a brand new PEI that was being built by the Tulackhas but never finished, and they also purchased the Bad Habit Eddie chassis from Joe Sylvester. One of these trucks will become Zimmer SR's new truck, Uproar, and currently no plans have been announced as to what the 3rd truck will be. The new Terminal Velocity as well as Uproar are both set to debut in January. Small update as well, as JR McNeal has said he is now shooting for a 2025 debut for his new trucks. Derick Anson is still planning to have his new trucks running by early 2024.
  5. More updates. Bigfoot 23 has officially debuted- still unknown if they are expanding to 5 trucks or retiring a truck. Joe Sylvester has retired from monster trucks and has sold Bad Habit- the new owner is currently unknown. Larry Overman is selling both of his trucks due to health issues. He's had Guardian Angel for sale for quite some time and just put Watchman up for sale. The trucks have not ran in 2023. Guardian Angel was originally Stinger 1, while Watchman was a brand new PEI build. Derick Anson & JR McNeal have both announced plans to build new trucks. I believe both are shooting for 2024 debuts. Jeff Alire and his team have stepped away from monster trucks, he runs the Veteran truck. The Groths now own and operate that truck along with their other 3.
  6. A few small updates. Bigfoot has expanded with a brand new race ready PEI chassis, this one being Bigfoot #23. It's unknown at the moment if they are replacing an older chassis such as 15, or expanding back to 5 race trucks. Throttle Monster is also expanding, building a brand new CRD chassis. It's also unknown if they are replacing a chassis, or expanding to 9 trucks. Currently the oldest truck in their fleet is the 2nd KCM chassis, which debuted in 2018.
  7. Gary Schott JR has purchased back Hooligan. Schott built the CRD chassis truck in 2014 and debuted it WF16 displaying, the truck ran a few MJ shows and other shows, before being sold to Dustin Rogers and became John Gordon's first Bad Company truck in 2017. The truck ran as Bad Company from 2017-2018, before being shelved for most of 2019 in favor of the teams new Eddie chassis. This truck ran as Fast Metal and Black Pearl in 2020-2021, and made just one appearance in 2022 as Blown Money, then sat again and was resold to Schott. The redebut is unknown currently and it isn't clear if the truck will once again be renamed Hooligan or if it will get a new name.
  8. Dan Carey expanded to 3 trucks, debuting the all new Hellion this past weekend. It is a inhouse build, but a PEI clone. Also, it appears that Derick Anson has sold his operation to a company that puts on stunt shows in parking lots (much like they do over seas), so the trucks are not currently competing but doing exhbitiions instead
  9. Derick Anson's old River rat truck has resurfaced finally. It is now owned by a person named Keith Hanson, and it is named Electrified. It has made its first appearance at a display in WV this past weekend, unsure of its competition debut.
  10. Chris Rogers has expanded to 2 trucks. He bought out Greg Adams, and his 2nd truck, now named Relentless, was the old HyPer Lube Annihilator/Rislone Defender display truck. Chris' other truck, Hoosier Daddy, was the Adams race truck of the same Annihilator/Defender name. Relentless debuted this weekend.
  11. The Quicks have sold Ghost Ryder and Girl Power to the owners of a new promotion named Monster Trucks Most Wanted. This past weekend was the final shows for the Quicks in the trucks.
  12. Thomas Kimmons has purchased Thrillbilly from Rod Schmidt. Thomas got the Thrillbilly name/body but its actually on the PEI that was previously Red Solo Truck/Hot Tamale.
  13. SIR has sold another truck. Chris Whatley, who owns the Mississippi Nightmare ride truck, has purchased the old Hall Brothers Racing built chassis from Brandon Legarde and will be turning it into the new Mississippi Nightmare race truck. Whatley previously owned a race truck, which was originally one of Greg Adams Rislone Defender trucks. It was later the Citrus County Speedway truck, then MS Nightmare, and is currently owned by Kevin Lubsen and is named SWAT. Sudden Impact Racing just has 2 trucks left; 2 of their PEIs. Tantrum is also one of the former SIR trucks that was sold a few years ago.
  14. It has been confirmed that Team Throttle Monster purchased the Hurricane Force Eddie chassis from Mente, and is also building an 8th truck. This makes them the 3rd largest indie team behind Harper and Triple B, with 8 trucks.
  15. Chris Rogers, who drove Never Satisfied some last summer for Thomas Borders, has purchased Greg Adam's Rislone Defender truck, and will be renaming it Hoosier Daddy. Unsure of its debut. CJ Mente confirmed in a Facebook comment that they have sold the Hurricane Force eddy chassis but did not say who too. Once the new owner is confirmed, it will be updated here.
