  1. Hello...?  Anybody still around over here?  Been a while since I last dropped by.

  2. You wanna see a good looking car? The 2016 Mercedes AMG GT looks absolutly incredible. Did I mention they also have a GT3 spec racer? It looks pretty wicked, too. (Trying to upload from my phone, no idea if this'll work or not.)
  3. Ken Squier and Ned Jarrett put every other NASCAR announcer to shame last night, and they were only on for half an hour!
  4. And you bumped the thread that had no new posts in it from almost three weeks ago , why, exactly?
  5. Pretty much the same issues as steiale. Only thing that real irks me is the adds on the top of the page. It's like they can't formated for the mobile version, so the end up running about twice the width of the page, resulting in a really long add, and half of the screen is the actual mobile site, and the other half is just blank space. I'll have to take a look at the desktop version later.
  6. Maybe try clearing it, then booting it back up. Nothing should be in after that, then try regening it. Weird, but it's for me in the past, for some odd reason. If you have any of your old files, maybe try and replace them all, pretty much doing a clean wipe of the trucks and track folders. Just an idea.
  7. I like that actually. Now if onky the body was a VW Bus, then it would really tie the theme together.
  8. You can always reposition the camera for the "roosterpit" for the trucks. I forget exactly where it is in the .truck file, but there are a few numbers that if changed, will move the camera forward/back or up/down. A lot of guy use them for roof cameras. You might be able to move it firward infront of the visor. The field of view might not be all that great, but you'll be able to see.
  9. Even if they added some sort of windscreen infront or around the driver. At least something to deflect incoming debris. As we saw with Wilson, helmets only do so much.
  10. Not to mention some of the incidents involving Formula One drivers. Such a tragic incident, makes me wonder if some new safety implications may be in order.
  11. I kinda feel nothing would look better /sarcasm. I kid, I kid. Though it might not be the same thing, I belong to another forum that deals with painting custom NASCAR paint schemes, like actual paint schemes that they plan out and probably put way more time in than I can imagine. The one thing I've learned from those guys is the difference between getting something down to get it done and tweaking something to make it look exactly how you want it to are two completely different things. The difference between something that may look ok and what looks pretty damn near perfect is all in the small details. Would you rather do something quickly and then end up doing it over again or do it right the first time? I'm not trying to bash on you or anything, but one of the lessons with creating almost anything is putting the amount of effort into it to get it right the first time, that way you get into good habits of doing it that way; to make something look the best it can be. In a nutshell, don't rush something to get it done, take your time! I will applaud you for actually attempting to make something. We all have to start somewhere. Heck, you're farther than I ever made it.
  12. Did anybody say it was here...? Doesn't look like it, does it?
  13. Another young gun gone way before his time. Condolences out to the family and his team. Never really knew him, but apparently he was pretty good at what he did. R.I.P.
  14. Fair enough, but your don't have to rip on the guy if he uploads his own version of a truck that you made aswell. Do we need to have the same eight people making Truck X, while a few others make Truck Y? No. If we have people making the same things, peoplecan colaberate to make each better as a whole. Heck, you could take the skin off of his and put it on yours and boom! Best of both worlds. People might be making the same thing, but I'd rather have a truck released twenty times, each someone elses, to add variety and keep new things coming to the public than use the same stuff for 9 months without anything else coming out. Lighten up, dude.
  15. Another case of unsafe barriers between the trucks and spectators. Unfortunatly, outside of the US, this type of thing is all to common. I remember reading a thread about a similar incident in Mexico where the whole truck ended up in the specator area.
  16. Got to see Raminator and Virginia Giant in Carlisle today. Kinda neat.

  17. Got to see Raminator and Virginia Giant in Carlisle today. Kinda neat.

  18. You mean you'd actually buy the slop McDonald's "makes" for a plastic toy that will most likely break whilst trying to jump it off the top of your 6-peice McNugget meal box? That, sir, is dedication to a sport. GG.
  19. It's your own preference. My guess would be until it runs smoothly enough. People with higher end PCs might not have to raise it as much as someone on a bone stock laptop.
