This previous weekend saw the official start to the All Elite Monster Trucks season with a great weekend with some amazing action! Here is a small recap of what happened across both Stadiums and Arenas!

Domination was to be expected, however there were many drivers who put on an amazing performance! During Qualifying, Vincent Akard in Rockwell R.E.D blitzed the competition, and taking the first two points of the season. But the talk of the night during racing by far was Ewan Ford in El Toro Loco Black, DEFEATING Marcelo Mendoza subbing in for Joseph Medina in Avenger during the Semi Finals. Unfortunately for Ewan, he would be defeated by the points leader Vincent in the final round. Skills also proved to be interesting, as many competitors put on great performances that wowed the crowd. Taylor Andes, Tim Clapper, and Travis Palm laid down exceptional performances during the night, but, as to be expected, Vincent Akard took the Skills win, with unbelievable moves with precise control of his truck. Freestyle was the competition to look out for by far! Drivers like Trooper Balcazar, Tim Clapper, Taylor Andes, and Marcelo Mendoza put on amazing performances. In the end however, in a controversial Tie Breaker between Vincent Akard and Travis Palm, Travis in Wrecking Machine would be declared the winner. The points leader is still Vincent Akard, however you know Travis and the other 14 drivers are going to be fighting for that top series win!

But easily the most exciting part of All Elite was the first Points event for the Arena Series! Qualifying looked to set a precedent for the rest of the season, with Kyle Knickerbocker taking the first 2 points in Qualifying. Unfortunately, Kyle would be unable to show up for this week, leaving Travis Palm to sub for Twisted Addiction. Racing proved to be more skill then anything, as navigating the tough and tricky chicago style racing course would show who was capable of taking the win. The upset of the night 100% had to be when Billy Badass, subbing for the original driver in Wild Side defeating Travis Palm in Twisted Addiction IN THE FIRST ROUND!!! The finals came down to Freddy Dinapoli subbing in for Dillon Kearns in Megalodon and AJ Reed in Soldier Fortune Ice. Freddy narrowly defeated AJ, giving him his first win of not just the Arena series but the tour itself! During Skills, drivers like Max Silver in Max-D and AJ Reed showed their true creativity with some outstanding moves! Freddy would prove himself again tying for the lead with Lionel Herrera in Zombie Fire. In the Tie Breaker, Lionel was declared the winner. For Freestyle, it was a back and forth battle between being outrageously insane to pull off crazy hits to the wow the fans and impress the judges, but also be technical and controlled by not crashing into any of the safety barriers. Billy Badass, Travis Palm, and Lionel Herrera EASILY did just that, laying down exceptional runs that were truly something to remember. Lionel's jaw dropping run also featured the first and only successful Mini Flip attempt, which that along with the rest of the 2 mins of insane Monster Truck action gave Lionel the win in Freestyle.
