mdemko
InB4 too many pr0nz!!!! So it seems I killed my PC. It goes into startup repair mode and does nothing forever. I've tried getting into safe mode, but it's the same thing. Plus even if I were to wipe the drive and start over, I don't have a back up because windows kept give me an error and I never figured out how to fix it. FML. So let's get down to brass tax. 1) if those of you who I have sent .blends of bailout to could look hard to see if you still have them, that would be awesome. Save them as I will be needing them in the near future. 2) any recommendations on a good work horse/gaming PC? I'm looking to spend less than $2K on it. NavySonicShell
I have a $650 Lenovo Desktop that has an i5 processor and I think 4 gigs of RAM. I don't know if you want more than that or not, but I highly recommend looking at Lenovo. They are owned by IBM and make great computers.

mjkproductions
I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but if you don't want to build it, the Alienware X51 is one of Alienware's more affordable computers. It's not the best gaming setup inside, but its cheap enough that there's plenty of room for upgrading. http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/pd/Dell-Alienware-X51/productID.247107600/vip.true http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/pd/Dell-Alienware-X51-AX51-9013BK/productID.250639700/search.true
