Klayton
Last night at around 9:30 PST, my sister was involved in a car accident coming home from work. A person driving a van cut her off on the freeway going 70 mph. My sister lost control of her car, cut across five lanes hitting the center divide, and then slid sideways into it. While this was all happening, the driver of the van kept on going. The Aftermath: The driver side door was not able to open and had to be pried open by people who had seen the crash. She was able to walk away with only a scratch and a black eye (Airbag).
NavySonicShell
Well you can clearly tell that the prius isn't all crap if it can save someone from such a terrible accident. Any idea if someone went after the van and got the plate number? Thank God she was able to walk away.
Crazyboy335
Wow.. Even though the Prius is ugly, it's really safe. Amazing how she could walk away.

Nah, just makes up for sticking throttles and the brake issues they had.

If everyone is going to live in the past, Chevys flip over, Fords explode and Volkswagens are terribly unsafe. But let's actually make an attempt to stay on topic. Mark Colineri
Well that's usually what happens, the buckwheat in the other vehicle that caused the accident just keeps going on their merry way. Glad your sister is alright.

mjkproductions
Glad to hear your sister is okay. Accidents almost scared me ever since my sister came inches from driving off a cliff. I'm happy to hear that your sister was being watched over by some guy up there just as my sister was.
Sergeant Politeness
Glad to hear your sister is okay Klayton. I've had some pretty close people to me get in some pretty nasty wrecks by being blindsided by reckless drivers so I know your concern mate. Thargo
That sucks. Glad to know she's okay. I'm guessing nobody got the license plate since he drove off?
Klayton
Yea no one saw the van b/c they cut her off trying to exit the freeway. All they saw was her hitting the median. It's a shame that this had to happen to her since it's the holidays and she works at Best Buy, car is totalled.
