I like it. Better than car after car doing 2 laps done time. it gives more of a reason to watch it. which is probably what they were intending

 

I do think they should do Fastest 43 cars instead of these "Provisionals"

Terrible idea. idiotic and will take twice as long. No more qualifying cars.

It has a nice format layed out. Kinda reminds if how Formula 1 qualifying works out. The only thing I could ser being a problem is if a guy with a fast car comed up behind a slower car, essentially "screwing up" the faster cars run for a time.

Guess we'll see what happens.

Nascar is a joke, They should do a layout with qualifying, heats, a b main, fast dash (top 8 or so qualifiers racing for starting positions) then the A main... they need to lose half the announcers and actually cover the race, I mean look at how well the eldora truck race turned out, some of the best racing nascar has seen in years.
