  1. My friend has it. I played it for a while last night. In my opinion Forza 3 is better but I can't say for sure since I only played a little while. It had a few pros vs Forza. The tire smoke and graphic details are stunning. However the damage aspect isn't there like Forza. I did enjoy racing on the top gear test track tho.

  2. My two cents is that altering handling definitely would not make it unfair in anyway. Each truck would then suit a driving style. Just to use a real life example if you put Tom Meents in Bounty Hunter and Jimmy Creten in Max D, would either of them do as well for at least a few events? Probably not. Giving more power to trucks would give advantage, but does the highest hp always mean a win...nope. I think trucks that behave and have the power of their real life counter parts would be an immense addition to the game.

  3. Ah, the Terminator. The underrated Mustang...the one with IRS and "insurance rated" horsepower. Definitely a nice car...those'll run with most GT500s, and in fact, could beat one of the iron-block Shelbys 'round a track. The new 'Luminum block, maybe not, but definitely the nose-heavy pigs.

One day I'll either Kenne Belle mine and be > than a Terminator, or I'll sell mine and buy a Terminator (or a late '90s Viper GTS) lol.

  4. This is the only video I have right now, and its not the best quality. I was up in Chicago one night with my friend and we came across a really curvy twisting section of road so I made a couple passes through it and he taped one. The video doesnt do any of it justice. The turns are so sharp, and the wind noise ruins the sound of the car.

And mdemko, I like Saleens but I also like Cobras, and for the simple fact that my car is actually a Cobra I'll just keep it that way. The 1999 s351 Saleens are the baddest stangs around, even better than the Terminator Cobras in my opinion.

  5. First of all I bet those do look good Mike, they are the same design as my wheels if I'm not mistaken...the FR500s. Except mine are 17'' so I could fit the 315s in the back. And since LF brought it up I'll share the story of my car. My dad is a mechanic by trade and has built a few street rods frame up, and knows an insane amount about cars. Over the years I have picked up a lot from him, his friends, forums, etc. Basically I am a gear head, but I certainly dont claim to know everything or anything close to everything at this point as it is all kind of self taught or just learned as I went. Anyways, my dad bought the car I have now (a 2001 Mustang Cobra) wrecked and as soon as he brought it home I bought it from him for what he paid.

This is the day I bought it. No frame damage, and was driveable except the radiator was cracked.

Then I bought the new parts/used parts my dad had (aka the front bumper I had at first) and took it to a local body shop for the quarter panel to be replaced and for the paint work.

Photo I took the day after I got my FR500s, prior to lowering and stock 01 front bumper.

Me at the track, first of the tinted tail light stages (much more shine to them now) ran a 13.7... not bad for a basically stock 01.

As it is currently, more mods this summer. First think is Kooks LT headers and an off road x pipe.

  6. Thanks, it looks even better with the sandstorm sky because it isnt so reflective. I threw another skin together since I was bored. Turned out pretty well, very simple. However I cant get the pics up, it wont let me use the uploader on the reply tools or the image link to photobucket

  7. Hey everyone, I'm C.J. and have been a fan of monster trucks my whole life (or as long as I can remember). As a kid I liked them for the awe factor and because they looked cool. As I have grown older I became interested in cars, and am semi knowledgeable at worst when it comes to vehicles and such. Therefore, my appreciation for monster trucks has taken a turn for the mechanical side. The only real experience that may be of use for this community is I have some background with photoshop and could do some paint work, and I hope to be able to mod more in depth and the whole spectrum of chassis to tracks. However only time will tell if I'll have the time to do so. I also want to race in some events if not a whole series.

    Sincerely,

    C.J.

PS: Im a huge fan of team Bigfoot. And here is a quick project I did off the Nitro Circus body.post-146-041993400 1285703367_thumb.jpg
