By AaronLurieOn September 10, 2010, Sim-Monsters.com was born. Over the past decade, this website has played host to some of the largest events in virtual monster trucks. From the early days of All-Monsters Eve and Fall Madness, to leagues like MROR, SSRS, KOTH, and SMRA, to modern leagues like NAMT, TLG, GZT, and ROR-MTP, this community has been rich with competition and The Monster Blog Truck Fest is no different! For the first time since 2014, The Monster Blog Truck Fest will host one of the largest events in the history of Sim-Monsters.
This event will feature a two day, two stage racing competition that will test the skill of every driver and a freestyle competition that will push the limits of every truck on the track. On Night One of racing, for the first time ever, a Round Robin bracket will used to narrow the field to 24 drivers for Night Two. Night Two will be a showdown of the 24 best from Night One, competing in a single elimination racing bracket and freestyle competition to crown the champions of The Monster Blog Truck Fest.
We would like to thank @TheMonsterBlog for sponsoring this event. Way back in 2014, we hosted the first TMB Truck Fest and The Monster Blog was there to give us a big name to support the event and they are back again to give this event the promotion it deserves. Be sure to check out The Monster Blog on their website (http://themonsterblog.us/) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/themonsterblog).

Day 2 Track X:
There is a full quality version of the track and an FPS version.
PLEASE NOTE, THE FPS VERSION OF THIS TRACK LOOKS INTENTIONALLY TERRIBLE AND LACKS MANY FEATURES OF THE FULL VERSION, BUT THERE SHOULD BE A SIGNIFICANT PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
Thank you to everyone who helped along the way with this track. This would not have been possible without everyone that either made something or helped test the track and make sure it's up to a standard that this event deserves.
By AaronLurieThis is definitely a track. Surely one of them.
I spent too long on this.
This track is only guaranteed to work on Rigs of Rods 0.4.8
These are the people that have their content on this track:
Other people who provided various goods and services:
Julio Vellon Jr
Joshua "m1cks" Micks
A few things to note:
This track has working shadows on the meshes, which you can take advantage of by enabling "PSSM" in your settings in version 0.4.8.
There are working timed races on the racing version that work in ROR 0.4.8.
If you cross the start line before the race, simply reset your truck to cancel the current race.
Yeah, that should be everything.
I appreciate everyone that has helped get this project to the level that it's at.
By Chris BWorld Finals 18 Freestyle! Is it perfect... not at all. Is it damn good... hell yeah! Worked hard on this over the past month to get this old project of mine completed, and here she is!
Keep in mind that this is a high quality track, so if your computer is known for running things below say 30 FPS, you're gonna have a bad time. There is no low quality version because I simply didn't feel it was necessary. Feel free to resize textures on your own if you are having troubles running it. But this is way more optimized for performance that the crappy racing course in terms of vertices and texture sizing.
Two Versions: Part 1 (after about 10 trucks have went) and Part 2 (muddy mess!)
Now the credits!
Rockcrawler (Klayton) - the cars, the bus, the original stadium model, dirt textures, various little textures
Maxdman- props like bulldozers and hybrid obstacles, some textures, a lot of inspiration in terms of baking and decreasing amounts of verts
Me- the track itself (like the ramps), putting it all together, material and odef files
Google Images- mini photos and various logos
Chazzymp (Mason)- the exterior posters and some entertaining snaps to looks at when I got bored
Rigs of Rods dev team- help with some code things
Monster Jam's Youtube Channel- The "fathers day rewind" that gave me all my reference shots
Mcdonalds- Food for when I was hungry
Instagram- a constant distraction
Don't roll in the turn
By AaronLurieBig thanks to @Edyfor helping big time on the textures for this. His work really helped transform the track.
A couple disclaimers:
-This track will probably suffer on performance for some of your computers. Turn off shadows and lower your settings to improve FPS. If there is a large demand, I may consider adding an FPS version.
-Some of the truck background graphics came from Steel Titans
-Some of the models, such as the lights and speakers came from CGTrader and Turbosquid
I hope you all enjoy this track
Speedster Track X:
By DannyMackeyThis is the 12th and final track of the NAMT 2020 Season. I want to thank @AaronLurie and @Edy for all their work making the first 8 tracks and assisting on the final 4 tracks I made. Once again @AaronLurie provided the paint for the track. @Edy provided the house, paying homage to the previous Grand Championship track and 4Corners Coliseum 2015. Really wanted to go out with a bang for the last event, hopefully this lives up to the expectations.
The racing design is originally from Mankato Speedway - Criss Crossover-Rama by @Hot Shoe. Jr Seasock was the mind behind the race course style itself.
I wanted to bring this classic design back and where better than the last event of the NAMT Playoff Series.
monster jam is back
First RORMJL event of the New Year.
Includes 4 versions.
Show 1 Racing
Show 1 Freestyle
Show 2 Racing (Mud)
Show 2 Freestyle (Mud/Rain)
By DannyMackeyFirst track of the new year and second to last track of the NAMT 2020 season. Didn't get to have the event in Sam Boyd, so I decided to bring a similar design to Raymond James Stadium.

By DannyMackeyAfter a long 9 event Regular Season, NAMT moves into its first Playoff Series. This is the first of 3 tracks for said Playoff Series, sporting a unique racing layout and wild freestyle track. Hope you all enjoy!
As always, thanks to @AaronLurie for the track paint and NAMT animations.
Another track, this time for Stadium Tour Red.
Fun track to race on freestyle is fun too.
(Note, Freestyle track tire ramp might be a little laggy. I may fix in the future.)
STADIUM MODEL IS FROM SUPERCROSS THE GAME 3, NONE OF IT WAS MADE BY ME
This was the second stop for RORMJL Stadium Tour Blue

By Chris BDISCLAIMER (If you can really call it that)
This is a big file. You might experience some lag or not be able to run the track at all if you have your settings to the max. However, for your convenience, this upload includes an FPS version, which undoubtedly does not look as nice, but will get the job done for competitions as it aligns perfectly with the full version of the track.
If you are running the FPS version, and for some reason you still are getting lower than about 40 frames, then I highly encourage you to upgrade to .4.6 or higher. When being tested, I found that your frame rate drastically improves on this version (even when running at the high quality). For example, when spawning two high quality trucks in, I was still getting 80 frames on .4. With that scenario on .38, the game would literally crash and I wouldn't be able to spawn in. This is why I highly recommend just using .4 to avoid all lag altogether.
Finally, last thing I wanted to state was that I know there's a lot of "unnecessary" verts in the track. I would develop a new version of the track to try and get rid of some of these, but I have simply lost interest after working on this over the time of seven months (took two off for personal reasons). For this reason, I am open to sending any track makers or anyone at all the full .blend of the track. Then, if the lag-issue really is that great, it can be fixed by someone a bit more eager and willing. However, I'm 99% percent sure this won't be an issue, just wanted to clarify as other tracks of mine have been reported for immense lag that no one I talked to or tested with experienced. Thanks for reading this and enjoy the track!
- Chris Bialek
It's finally here! Monster Jam World Finals 18 Racing is out and looking good! Tons of time went into this track to assure that you guys get the most realistic Monster Jam experience possible. Tons of details never before seen on Sim Monsters are included as well. Have fun driving and exploring!
Chris B- All the modeling of jumps and a good majority of the detailing/texturing
Klayton- Original Sam Boyd Model and cars
Maxdman- Bulldozers, announcer stands, trophy, various props
Chazzymp- Exterior posters, frame rate testing
Nathan Smith, Levi Schones, Tom Deents- Frame rate testing
Note: Freestyle will come out in a few months
The timer only works with older versions, ROR 2020 will have some bugs with it.
By DannyMackeyHere is the last event of the NAMT 2020 Regular Season. Thanks to @Edy for making the stadium model. @AaronLurie also did a great job on the paint.
By RORMADNESSMerry Early Christmas!
This is a track I've been working on for quite some time, after a few redos I finally got something I enjoyed.
Big thanks as well to Chazzymp for doing animations on the stadium.
NOTE, this track has animations like previously said, this track can lag lower grade computers, I can make an FPS version if enough people want it.
This is one of the few tracks I'm happy with the outcome enough to post to the site, I'm trying to get better so don't give too much hate!
If there are any problems please let me know and I can get around to fixing them.
By DannyMackeyThis track was made by @Edy for NAMT. He wanted me to upload it for him. I just added the checkpoints.

This model rocks, super happy with how it turned out. Don't even know why I made it, just did.
(Chicago Style but one of the turns goes outside the venue then back in)

By AaronLurieAnother track.
San Antonio 2011, you know the drill. 3 hits on the racing lanes.
By Goldberg6734Monster Jam is back?
Had this track on the backburner for about two months, talked with @Mario_Ortega and @Chris Bto try and get this stitched together, I did the entire racing track, Mario made the freestyle track, and Chris helped with getting the sand drags area slippery. Overall I think it's a good track for what it's worth.
Hope you all enjoy!
By Goldberg6734it's my first track!! woo!! thank you to @Chris B @JackMProductions @TheOnlyTjrich and especially, @JackMProductions for helping me with this track.
here's how it looked irl:
By EdyWeek 4 of NAMT
Sorry for the late upload, had some stuff in the way.
Cars should be more crushsable than last week.
Please report any technical faults or problems in the comment section of the file and not the reviews.
Will relase the blend files for all the stadiums i've made for NAMT so far later in the month.
Have a happy day.
