  1. What nobody realizes is that SPEED or any other network produced Monster Jam shows. Monster Jam themselves makes the shows that air. So I'm sure Scott will still be commentating, I'm sure Mark will if he still works for Monster Jam, whatever. There won't be much difference.

Correct. Monster Jam produces the show themselves I'm pretty sure. Scott Douglass works for Monster jam, not FS1/Speed. So more than likely you will get the same package as before unless Monster Jam changes the setup themselves.

  2. I absolutely understand the anti-bullying campaigning, but I'm always annoyed at the way people go about trying to fix it. We should be focusing on how to get kids to cope with bullying in healthy ways, instead of trying to create this unattainable utopia where no one is bullied. The way we go about it actually makes kids more sensitive to bully attacks. Instead of dealing with it and moving on, we are sortta pushing them to make a big deal out of it. It gives the bullying more recognition than it needs. Then when there is no one to turn to as adults, how will these people cope? Call the cops? Because someone said you were ugly?

  3. BTW YOU GUYS SAID I SHOULDN'T PUT THE SHOCKS IN BLENDER AND EXPORT IT WITH THE SHOCKS, NOW YOUR SAYING I SHOULD I HAVE TO, AND HOW IN THE HECK AM I GOING TO GET PEI SHOCKS AND SPRINGS FROM COIL-OVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINE I'LL REDO IT, BUT THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUIS.

I understand your frustration. I have no idea how to do it either. I abandoned trying. Those who do it are rather skilled and knowledgeable. If all else fails, just release it as a custom #23 with whatever shock setup you like. Not quite as special, but whatever. It's something.

  4. I would love the new backdraft. One of the few trucks id love to have. This one is pretty good. It does look a bit awkwardly sized with a few modelling issues. Nothing I wouldn't gleefully ignore, but the general awkwardness (whatever it is exactly) of it is a bit "meh" to me.

  5. Thr SPEED episodes are taken down by Fox more than likely. World Finals DVDs are not SPEED property. It appears that SPEED is merely a TV distributor of Feld's content. SPEED doesn't own the copyright to the content itself. Feld does. That's why Feld can still put up clips on their Youtube page or website that has nothing to do with SPEED/Fox.

  6. Actually the trucks are way faster in .38. You can have multiple versions of RoR, I have about 6 or 7.

As for the beauties part, I think he may be watching some MinnesotaBurns on youtube

I might re-download 0.37 and try it out again just to see the difference, because i dont remember noticing much at all.

  7. Exactly as Jon Cannon said. Find the tire fix and you can use 0.38 without noticing much difference. It's a bit time consuming to go through the files and change each one, and you'll have to do that with every new truck you download, but to me it's worth it...if you have lots of time on your hands. If not, I had both 0.37 and 0.38 on my computer at the same time. You could use 0.37 for monster trucks and 0.38 for everything else.

  8. Yikes. It's pretty simple, folks.

    - There will be no PACK of V5 trucks released.

    - The unfinished trucks that were going to be included in the V5 pack will, for the most part, be finished and released.

    - The core changes that were going to be in V5, such as updated physics and smaller component pieces will be released in some form.

    - Most, if not all, of those developing the pack will continue working on this content.

    - Nothing is stopping you from developing your own content

  9. If you go to my tutorial in the tutorials section of this site, the link to the proper, official version of ROR will be there. No virus. Only use the official source. I assume you are using Windows of course.

The lack of decent replay functionality is a big pain in the butt. It'd be so much easier to go back and record crazy mishaps or saves or whatever. You could always use a screen recorder. There are several free ones around. If you have a decent computer, you may be able to record the runs that way w/o too much frame drop.

  10. Google? Google hasn't bought anything I know of outside of the tech sector. This is live entertainment. Now to take this into a more realistic area, Youtube does lots of official live events now that they promote and whatnot (unlike the individual user live shows). What's to say Monster Jam doesn't make a deal for Youtube to live stream and promote it? It's a good last resort if a full TV deal doesn't pay off.

I do realize you put "half-jokingly", though, so I'll just let you have you fantasy. HELLS YEA! GOOGLE BUYS FELD! Free shows, but you have to wear logo-laden AdSense shirts for the month following.
