As someone who has watched a lot of every World Finals thanks to YouTube, I can confirm that this was, in my opinion, the 2nd best World Finals of all time. It falls short of 2008, but these are why I think it's the second best.

    1. Ryan Anderson finally won. His victory in Racing recorded some of the loudest cheers of the decade.
    2. Judging was fair in Freestyle. We all gave it crap at first, but it actually made for, as Scott Douglass says, "a no doubt champion".
    3. The right person won Freestyle. Neil Elliott may have landed the first ever reverse backflip, but Lee O'Donnell had more momentum, as well as a frontflip. How could he NOT have won?
    4. Almost every single newcomer did very well in Freestyle, which cannot be said about 2010. Rosalee Ramer placed the highest out of all of them, finishing 7th out of the field of 32.
    5. This track could've started a whole new era...

I agree with you.  I think the only WF of all time better than this one, was 2008.  I also feel that this was the start of a whole new era, to me the future of the sport looks bright.

  2. My Double Down Show Down Predictions:

    (In no particular order)

    1. Earth Shaker - Tristan England

    2. Ice Cream Man - Roy Pridgeon

    3. Monster Mutt Dalmatian - Cynthia Gauthier

    4. Saigon Shaker - Ryan Disharoon

    5. Obsessed - Eric Swanson

    6. Pirates Curse - Camden Murphy

    7. Jester - Matt Pagliarulo

    8. El Toro Loco - Mark List

    9. Maximum Destruction - Jared Eichelberger

    10. Rage - Cory Rummel

    11. Scooby Doo - Bailey Shea

    12. Hurricane Force - Steven Thompson

    13. Grave Digger - Krysten Anderson

    14. Zombie - Ami Houde

    15. Monster Mutt Rottweiler - JR Seasock

    16. Over Bored - Jamey Garner

  3. My Final 9:

    Colton Eichaelberger - Maximum Destruction

    Colt Stephens - FS1

    Lee O'Donnell - Mad Scientist

    Bari Musawwir - Zombie

    Ryan Disharoon - Saigon Shaker

    Chad Fortune - Soldier Fortune

Becky McDonough - El Toro Loco

    Eric Swanson - Obsessed

    Cory Rummell - Rage

Other Options that would be nice to see invited:

Pablo Huffaker, Tristan England, Rosalee Ramer, Matt Pagliarulo, Buddy Tompkins, Roy Pridgeon, Chuck Werner, Gary Porter

Banking on Bari and Colton getting invites anyhow. MAYBE Bryce and Mohawk Warrior because recognition

My bets on the final 9 spots

    1. FS1 Cleatus- Colt Stephens (C'mon, the boy deserves it)
    2. VP Mad Scientist- Lee O'Donnell (Obvious)
    3. Soldier Fortune- Chad Fortune (Again obvious)
    4. Zombie- Bari Musawwir (Obvious as well)
    5. Max D- Colton Eichelberger (Need more than one Max in there, and Colton has been killing it)
    6. Saigon Shaker- Ryan Disharoon (Shot in the dark here but I think he might get it)
    7. Great Clips Mohawk Warrior- Bryce Kenny (I figure this will happen, may be a bit controversial like Buyten)
    8. El Toro Loco- Becky McDonough (Girl's been giving it hell all year, really upped her game, and you can't tell me there's not one more yellow body back there)
    9. Obsessed- Eric Swanson (Another shot in the dark but again boy's been doing great, I think he could do well)

I dont think they should invite Bryce Kenney, no offense but matt buyten is way more fun to watch then him.

I think instead of inviting him, they should invite Cory and Rage.  I agree with all of your other picks.

  5. I think Colt Stephens in FS1 has gotten robbed two weeks in a row.  But in all honestly, all of the top scoring runs are pretty similar, and not in a good way.

In Anaheim, Colts and Erics runs were very similar so I was fine with either one winning.  But last week, Marc definately should not have won.  Marc is a great driver, but last week he wasnt really impressive.  I think Colt or Neil should have won at Petco.

    What?

    Toronto, ON - Rogers Centre

    Jan 28, 2017 - Jan 29, 2017

Featuring: Son-uva Digger driven by Ryan Anderson, Monster Energy driven by Coty Saucier, Jester driven by Matt Pagliarulo, Xtermigator driven by JR McNeal, Wrecking Crew driven by Mike Thompson, Rage driven by Cory Rummel, Barbarian driven by Devin Jones, Over Bored driven by Jamey Garner, El Toro Loco driven by Becky McDonough, Grave Digger driven by Carl Van Horn, Trucks/drivers subject to change., Overkill Evolution driven by Mike Vaters II, Black Stallion driven by Mike Vaters, Bounty Hunter driven by Todd Morey, Iron Outlaw driven by Mike Christensen

I think he means those awful triple threat series.

I like the chicago style tracks better, but when they make the obstacles so tiny like they have all year on those tracks, it makes for a really boring show.
