um, if you think I'm mad then you're the one reading too much into my comments. I'm just posting my thoughts to a thread about the downvote topic, isn't that what this is for? and I don't know What I did to you seeing I've never even Spoke to you, but if you're setting the moral example for this community with comments like that. I'd rather people not like me here. Also, seeing you've already have an Upvote for being completely Off topic, helps my point.

If we lose the vote option how are we going to know if people like the project? By them spamming the thread with "oh mah gawd that looks awesome" or "this just doesnt look right or plain awful" i think we should just leave it the way it is cause why would you want to downvote someone's hard work, thats just like saying "hey your project sucks stop making them" im sure you would not like to be in that position if it was you(talking to everyone here, not just you).

that kinda already happens, and for project wise yeah, the upvote system is good. my point is there are other things that are voted on, just cause of the person that posted it. I agree with you on the downvoting, some peoples comments are bad enough without adding that kind of "insult".

Just because it could be monitored doesnt mean someone cant downvote for the hell of it.

Same could be said for the upvotes, I say lose the voting system all together.

the fact that someone could jump to a conclusion based on a photo is idiotic, you do not even have the trucks infront of you ingame and looking at them. But here is the fun part, where idiotic goes full potato so to speak. A blurb from someone, that would not even know where to start for content, makes a post, which at best looked like an attention grab, further solidifying the fact he has absolutely no idea what he is talking about.

All three bodies are the same (war wizard had the flags things removed and time flys was modified to fit the new racesource chassis). Is contradiction really that difficult that nobody else can grasp it?

His video is even better in going on about Spiderman's body and that it is still the same from 2003, well derp FELD is not going to hash out money for a brand new mold and they are still using several of the chassis's from that time period today.

Shouldn't this be taken up with that spidermantruck guy? he said he didn't like the body's, not me. All I pointed out is if you're gonna be mod making you're gonna have people picking apart your stuff. Rather it's ror, rfactor, whatever, just comes with the work. If there were things he's said behind the scenes then I don't have that to go off of, us "normal folks" only see what he posts to the masses.

Actually a guy on the modding team for rFactor I'm with painted it up for me, I'm not any good at doing paint jobs on models (nor did I say I was). But if you feel you could do a better job then us with the mod by all means come on over to our modding group and we'll see if ya got what it takes . no hard feelings... anyway, back on topic, how far away are we now?

the old asphalt Bristol was cool watching the old 80's Monte Carlo's race around there, track was rough, bumpy, and narrow, I remember ESPN Classics showed a race from then and the cars were just hoping lol.

Honestly what would be awesome is if they left like turn 3 - 4 progressive banking and turned 1-2 back into what it use to be lol. Best of both worlds.

True, with the old car you had to do the "Bump and Run", but with these COT cars, you can't do that like the old cars. the old cars you jacked the other guy up by getting under his bumper and lefting the rear tires up, the bumpers line up on these cars, you hit a guy all you're doing is pushing him forward. But that causes drivers to say "well that didn't work, guess I can hit him harder", which in turn gives what a lot of the fans want. Wrecks. but they want to call it "good racing". honestly I didn't find the last Bristol race boring at all, that battle between Brad and Matt was exciting to watch.

I think they went the wrong way, don't flaten the top lane, bank the lower lanes more, this is just gonna make it a "Follow the Leader" race.

DDT didn't once say he didn't like it for one. I still get both but I see what ya mean with the updated body, the front and rear clips look more rounded then what's on Meents' truck in my opinion, the updated body look like they'd be perfect on the CRD Chassis as Neil's or Kreg's Max-D as there body's look more rounded and shorter to me, where Tom's look's extended and squared off. those are just my thoughts though.
