Not only do I doubt this, but your argument is very narrow-minded. You're acting like people can either want any possible innovation/evolution at all, or none whatsoever, when most people are making clear arguments of what they do and don't want and aren't talking about absolutes.

I think four trucks running two different races all at once is definitely a bad idea.. It reminds me of why tandem freestyles were nixed, one of them being that it's too difficult to focus on multiple trucks at once unless they're all doing the same thing. It just turns into an assault on your senses and not to mention, doesn't serve any real purpose or fix any issues.

Y'all are right, I'm just a little ticked at the hate on something that may or may not be a cool feature before giving it a shot.

Silly me, how could I forget we humans can have opinions. Anyways as the competition manager (at least as your bio says.) and please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm only using google as a source for a job description here, in a basic sense, you help create and run the events? So it would behoove you to up-sell the idea and dispel the rumors? Especially in a public forum such as SM. Regardless of your actual opinion, because I don't care one bit about it. Anything you say here will be directly linked to the company you represent, so I shouldn't reasonably assume that anything you say here has corporate biased built into it even if it is a minute amount? Also, just for future reference, two L's in the name next time you want to type it out, looks kinda funky with one L.

As someone in the comments already stated they're trying way too hard to cut show times...sounds potentially dangerous and very confusing. In person it'll probably be something quick to catch on to but no matter how you split the race up you'll be missing all or parts of one of the races trying to watch the other

Maybe I'm just not a fan of this idea and my view is a sceptic/pessimistic look at it, but I dont think this is gunna work out as amazing as they think. Cool idea but actually putting it out there raises some concerns and 1 eyebrow from me

It's not cutting show times.. shows will still be 2 to 2.5 hours. It's hilarious how many people bitch and moan that the sport needs to evolve and when Feld does something they scream NOT LIKE THAT! I guarantee you if it was Monster Throwdown, MLMT, or All Star Monster Trucks doing this people would be praising them.

This whole thing isn't dangerous, trucks are still on the RII and if someone rolls or spins out and causes another truck to stop they will not be screwed out of a possible win. This isn't something they thought of last night, threw a quick render together of and posted on social media.

It really depends on the driver. MJU helps most definitely but some drivers just don't have it. Granted Myranda Cozad came it when MJU wasn't in full swing, but I personally don't much care for her as a driver and she hasn't improved drastically in my opinion. Curious how she won her first overall event this weekend. But look at Sipes and England, and how amazing they are. Based off of bios, Justin Hicks sounds like he could do something. Joe on the other hand doesn't look to have too much motorsports experience so he might be surprisingly good. Overall, MJU has been a great innovation and it's really interesting to see the recent improvements

Joe definately isnt scared to air it out, solid driver in all three vehicles. Wouldn't surprise me if he wins a few overall championships in first quarter.

Probably not, but they stole my map!  If anything I've made has a slightest impact on the real world of Monster Jam that's cool as hell.  Those do look like my transport trailers from my MJU track.... 😆

Did a really nice job on it, caught a lot of small details on it too which was pretty cool. Only thing missing is bees and ants! 🤣 Felt like I was out there again.

Yeah, Amalie is really nice. Didn't really think about that donut connection lol.

Yeah, it was definitely an interesting sand/clay combo. Very loose though, I slipped a few times talking through it. By the way just wanted to say I enjoyed reading your write up, keep at it.

Honestly this weekend in Tampa was a huge cluster, there were a lot of times where no one really knew what was going on and such. So it wasn’t super organized lol

I never did catch what happened to Jacks truck there.. Kept seeing the RII lights flashing, electrical issues?

Official Tampa Triple Threat results and thoughts:

Negatives- I only had a few negatives really. I really dont like the beach sand/clay mix they use, it slings clumps of heavy dirt everywhere, and I was hit multiple times in the front row (nasty swollen purple bruise in my breast area was the worst). People had to shield themselves with their arms to not get hit. .. Really wasnt a fan of the time management, but it was a minor issue and I'm sure there was a reason for it I didnt know about. After every run, a truck would be shut off for about a minute, restarted, parked, then the next repeated this. Just seemed to waste a major amount of time. Officials are too trigger happy in donuts. Let the trucks do their thing for gods sake. Most could only get in 3 or so donuts before being shut off. Those were really the only "negatives" I could think of out of millions upon millions of positives.

I'm confused, you got hit with dirt clods but you don't understand why the officials were trigger happy in donuts?

Also the "wasting time" between runs is actually a really smart move by those producing the shows, I think it was cool as hell to watch Bari and other drivers stare at the screen while waiting to see what the score was.. It builds drama and suspense with the crowd.

Also another thing to note.. the seats are pushed back as far as they can go, there isn't anything else that can be done to make the space bigger.

On that note, Amalie arena is a really nice venue.. hope to get back to it at some point.
