Looking forward to traveling down to Pomona in a few weeks to cover the season opening NHRA race for a pretty big magazine. I'll post more information when I get it.

Goofing around a bit today with driver swaps, should have a live stream on YouTube for my stints in the race. Gonna be a long one.

And looks like Monster Jam site will never get the photo section back, i think instead they are uploading the photos to Facebook, that is bullsh*t in my opinion
Higher quality, the compression rate on their old website was crap anyways. Not only that but more people are seeing the photos too rather than viewing them on their website.

Travis' 15+ birthdays a year.. Winning the Sim Monsters season 2 racing and overall championships in Ironman. Fun times on teamspeak with stories that prolly shouldn't be mentioned on a public forum, and Johan's 10+ accounts.

I'm gonna guess the show was shut down due to lightening in the area, most if not all stadiums will evacuate the stands with lightening within a certain mile radius.

Can't wait for Reno, I might just have to go to all 3 days worth of shows instead of two..
What's everyone schedule looking like?

Feb 13th: Anaheim (May not go if I get offer to photograph NHRA Pomona race)

enjoying photographing sprint cars quite a bit.

It's kind of like a waiver. When a person gets into motorsports, especially NASCAR, IndyCars, etc., they're basically saying that they understand the risks that come with racing, and that they'll take those risks. And sadly, sometimes it takes a death to prevent more.
The biggest death in motorsports besides Senna's was Earnhardt's, I think Earnhardt dying finally made a lot of motorsports bodies realize that change was needed. Thus mandatory head and neck devices (which should've been there a while before that) full containment seats, newer designed chassis/cars.. It's amazing to see how much safety technology has changed since 2001.

Hate to be "that guy" but windshields will not prevent deaths but it MIGHT prevent some injuries, Jamie Dick (driver of the car above) was hit in the helmet visor with a piece of tungsten doing half the speed of an IndyCar. If it was an bigger track, I don't want to think of the outcome. Racing is dangerous, it always will be.

I know this is probably another stupid question, but will RoR 0.4.5 be available for OS X users as well? (I'm running a Mac. I'm trying to save some space for my Dell Tablet before getting the windows 10 upgrade) :/
Not a stupid question, the only question that is stupid is the one that isn't asked. I also think your question would be better asked over at the rigs of rods forum. Also, if you're going to try and run ROR on a tablet I'm not sure it would have the power to run it (depending on cpu specs of course), your best bet is to get a gaming pc, which ASUS builds for as little as $800.

From my recent adventure this past weekend. Vibrations were so intense my camera was switching photos in review between vertical or horizontal
-
Bad magneto, plug wires in wrong order.. I'd go with the first.

Great work, man.. If I may suggest on the first photo if you're using shallow bokeh/dof like that I think it'd be cool to see Avengers name in focus and everything out of focus short/deep.
