I personally used Google Docs. Whenever I upgraded my computer, I uploaded all my files there, and it was personal until I made it public, creating the time machine for everyone here to use. You can organize it in folders, and can access it from any computer. I could also recommend Mediafire, you just need to organize it there was well so that you can make sure you have everything when you upgrade.

I got burned out from this place a long time ago, honestly it's more on me though. But since I kept taking so many tasks that it eventually felt like more of a job then a fun hobby. Sucks I was advancing in ways I never thought would, now I can't even open blender for 30 seconds before closing it again. Join the club buddy, that makes what 5 now? Sucks but everyone is moving on
I think these are the big guys that were on that now don't do much (could be wrong)

Soon Fern haha#Gonebutsomewhatforgotten, but I agree with what he said entirely. Things change, new opportunities pop up left and right, and soon life catches up and video games have to come second. I still love monster trucks, but I don't have the time to put in a lot of hours to build content. Some things I see today in SYP blows me away, and it really shows how much this community has evolved since the early days when we first moved over to Rigs of Rods.

It's pretty simple. All you need to do is name the image to whatever your truck or terrain file is named. For example, in V4, the truck files all have specific names. You take the name of your truck file, and name that the photo, with "-mini" on the end. So, if you have a truck file named "NewTruck", the mini photo would be called "NewTruck-mini", then it should show up in game. Most -mini files are 512x512 png images.

Since I see a lot of older tracks coming up, and this link is buried in the site, might as well make it more accessible for everyone. As of 2013 I believe, this Google Drive was dedicated to keeping an handle on everything that was released. Now, it's not EVERYTHING, but it is a vast majority of truck packs and tracks that were released. Sim-Monsters truck packs V2 and V3 are here, all of the old RORMJ packs are here as well. To go along with that, are most of the tracks separated by where they were used. Keep in mind that because it's a bunch of files that was made back in the day, 0.4 and 0.38 users may have some problems, everything should work on 0.37. As a note, please do NOT have 2 truck packs in at the same time. For example, do not have an RORMJ pack and the V4 Pack in your vehicles folder at the same time, as it will cause problems. Additionally, anyone wanting the Fat Alphie for either 0.37 or 0.38 can get it here as well. If there's any questions about it, please feel free to message me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. There's some other goodies within the Drive that I'm probably missing, but hopefully it will allow many of you guys to see how much the content has evolved and where we are now. Not much else to say, but don't get lost in the drive, and ENJOY!

How to download
Method 1-Open up the file of your choice. It will open up a new tab or window. Then, hit the File option near the top, and then click download. If you guys are downloading multiple items at once, it will automatically pack all the files you want into a zip file, just be sure to extract all of your items once finished downloading.
Method 2-Click your file of choice, it will open up. Down in the bottom right corner, is an arrow pointing down to a line, hover over that and it will say download. Click that to download!
Method 3-Right click your file of choice and click download.

Hey everyone! I just want to reach out and say the countless amounts of thank yous to each and every one of you who gave me support for boot camp. For 3 months, Marine Corps Recruit Training was physically and mentally challenging, but I'm glad I did it. Now a graduated Marine, I can't play as much as I used to, but I can now keep in contact with everyone! Whether it be Teamspeak, Skype, or even this new Discord thing we seem to be moving to, I'll make sure it's on my phone so that I can keep in contact. As of this post, I'm on my 10 days of boot camp leave, but I go back for Marine Combat Training (MCT) on 13 October 2015. In that time, I'll be hanging out with friends and family, and may pop up here and there. Once again, thank you guys again for all the support, and maybe in the future, I'll come back and compete once again.

Oh, almost forgot! All of my custom trucks are now open customs for anyone to use, just remember that my name will always be on the side of Over Rev'd as well as Adrenaline Rush!

Hello everyone. I leave for boot camp for the United States Marines on July 6th, 2015, which is the upcoming Monday as I post this. With that being said, I'm here to say the countless thank yous and farewells to everyone on this site. Sim-Monsters has been a community I have felt so apart of, and I'm glad to have given back to this wonderful community. Even though I will be stepping away from the community, I will never forget all the fun times I had while on this site. From running in events, to creating trucks and tracks, to helping out others when they needed it, it was all fun and enjoyable to me. As I move on, I have to step away from this game and community that has meant so much to me. Now, with boot camp with the Marines right around the corner, I won't be able to play or compete with all the amazing people I've met with in this community. Ever since I got started in April 2011, Rigs of Rods and the monster truck gaming community have always been supported each other, and I was apart of that. For the past 4 years, I have been given so much, that I couldn't possibly give back to repay. Helping out anyone that I could, solving problems that arose. But most of all, I will never forget how much fun I had playing this game with the people I met. As I step away, I can truly say that I was apart of a community that will have fun times and support others when they need it. I step away feeling happy, happy to know that I impacted the community in a positive way, in such a way that I will be apart as it grows and expands while I'm out. That, and the memories I made, it will be held deeply in my heart. Even if it is a video game, it's an experience of fun, laughter, friendship, and silliness that I will always hold close to me. I can't thank everyone enough for how much they mean to me, how much I care for everyone, and although I can't personally thank everyone as I move to the Marines, you all mean so much to me. I leave everyone with this, my final farewell from the monster truck gaming community that I grew accustomed to. Leaving for boot camp, I will now start the next part of my life, the journey to becoming a United States Marine. Thank you to everyone, and until next time, farewell!

Well, I did a thing again. Pretty happy how this truck came out, and I hope you guys enjoy driving it! Please note, it's on a newer node beam, so some leagues may not allow this truck. Anyways, this will be the version I will be using in the upcoming SSRS season, so be sure you get it! Not much else to say but ENJOY!

Best Way To Transfer RoR files
in Help and Support
Posted
For things like Blender, I had to reinstall it completely and all of the plugins you need manually. But once it's there, all your blend files should be able to be opened and continued to be worked on. In terms of mapping for the wheel, you may have to play with it like reversing the axis or switching it back to the button you want, but it will provide with a good base for you to start so you don't have to start from scratch. I recommend reinstalling RoR and Blender and making sure they work before messing around with the files you're transferring.
