  1. I may be going out on a limb a bit here but FELD may be cracking down on the livestreams and YouTube videos because they're making their own service for the sort. All of their partners have had something like this in the past, FOX being the current one, and their entertainment rivals have it too. FELD has been putting up an absurd amount of videos on YouTube this year, probably just to test if they would get attention. Nowadays people spend more time on the internet than on TV, and making a subscription based "network" is a great way to capitalize on that. Just my thoughts. Definitely more hopeful than realistic, but who knows.

I looked at a picture from MonsterJam.com. He had the bow tie on the truck then. I can't post the picture on here because it'll be too big apparently.

I sadly wouldn't trust MonsterJam.com for accurate pictures of their own trucks.

    Metal Mulisha Pack is coming.

Not nearly as awful as some other things on this thread, but there are still a few things I think are worth investing in fixing:

    • Texture fixing (the rims, tie rods, seat and hedders on those pictures)
    • Prop realignment (shocks and tires)
    • Update / fix the paint a bit, the most obvious in that picture is changing the Monster Jam logo
    • Other things - I'd remove the bowtie if you want it to be as up-to-date as possible, and I also don't think you can call it the "2017 Version" without the new body

    Hope this helps!

  6. Since this is the Monster Jam Roast session, I guess I'll chime in with a few comments.

I'm not a super hardcore fan. I like the shows for their entertainment value, and will go to one because I want to see something cool, hence why I think spending that absurd amount of money for a two and a half hour (if you're lucky) show is worth it. FELD Entertainment is doing a very good job at appealing to the vast majority of people who go to their shows, those who have little to no knowledge of what has been expected of those very same shows in years prior. For everyone else, those who have followed the sport for years, they are left feeling like they have been cheated due to little things here and there, such as track design (not a "little thing", but my point stands). They are simply shifting their money from in-show specifics and spectacles to marketing and locale. It's a great decision in terms of business, and they are actually gaining fans by doing this, most notably seen this year in Osaka. Those of us who follow the shows week in and out are at a net loss, however. We know what to expect, and when something changes (the tracks, for instance) that isn't as good as what it was, that expectation isn't met. I love monster trucks, I wouldn't be in this community if I didn't, and I love Monster Jam, but to myself and the rest of the more "advanced" fans, FELD appears to by trying to change that opinion of ours.

TL;DR - Strawberries aren't actually berries, just how Monster Jam isn't a jelly company

To be honest I was completely unaware it has been 20 years already for Jim. I am excited to see what he can do with a low slung chassis, if they can sort it out quickly and he can adapt, there is potential to do big damage for first Q.

Realistically speaking, Jim is a very good driver, he's just hurt by mechanical problems a lot, most of which wouldn't happen were his truck set up a less, er, stubborn way. I'm very enthusiastic about him getting a new chassis and can't wait to see if he changes his driving style at all.

the rims currently on the truck are updated rims.
just recently I heard those "muddy BKT's" were made by anthoney (that guy that made xtermigator.) and honestly the look "okish".
the tire rotation is going to needs some work.

As a future tip, don't use anything made by that squirrel. And as far as tires and rims go, the tire tread, when looking at the front of the truck, should always point down towards the ground (unless you're specifically making it as a concrete-running replica), and there have been plenty of updated wheels and rims for your use, they just take longer than twelve seconds to get. Anything worth making is worth taking time on, and frankly, you're not taking the time to make it as good as you could.
