2 questions for those who have been to the world finals before or may know...

For Double Down ticket holders, is the qualifying on Thursday as well/do we have access to see it?

How thoroughly do they check bags? I'm going to try and sneak one of my good lenses in. In the past at my hometown show I just put in in the bottom of my backpack in it's case, and put a sweater on top, I tell them it's just my water bottle and ear protection. If security isn't anal about going through backpacks I should be ok.

Qualifying is on Thursday, yes. Everyone with Double Down tickets will be able to see it.

It's been a year so I can't remember as much, but I'm pretty sure they don't thoroughly check bags.

    Double post #yolo

so, i saw this in INSTEGREM

    -avenger photo from 1999-

If its real, im disappointed. I was expecting something more... i hope that that post is fake...

In my opinion, it wouldn't really make sense to spoil a design in a casino parking lot. There's more than likely a design, they're just not going to waste it on people to spoil.

But yes, that's the design currently at Sam's Town.

  3. More on that new Monster Jam video game, Gamespot lists it as a PS4, Xbox One game that will be developed and published by Maximum Games whom has also published titles such as American Truck Simulator, Myst, and the Farming Simulator games. *Release date of October 21st, 2016

I do agree though that the whole thing felt very forced and stiff. But when you're a family friendly company, you've gotta do what you gotta do.

  4. Well, it's that time again, time for Monster Jam to announce the new line-ups, trucks, and other shenanigans while the independents roll out for what ever they'll be doing.

But speaking of Monster Jam, the people at the Monster Jam website jumped the gun a little bit early and posted most of the 2017 stops along with the trucks driving at the events. I believe the #MoreMonsterJam stops are in it as it includes some arena dates with no trucks in them.

Also, the Monster Jam live event on Facebook is almost an hour away. So it'll be pretty interesting to see what'll come out for this year. https://www.facebook.com/MonsterJam

    i totally won this round

  5. Monster Jam recently sent out a Survey asking people if they'd like a Monster Jam themed Cruise.

    Details about it:

Themed cruises are becoming very popular. You may have heard of cruising with your favorite chefs or musicians, etc.  Monster Jam is considering a Monster Jam themed cruise. On the cruise, your favorite drivers would be on the cruise with you, mingling and providing photo and autograph opportunities as well. There would be Monster Jam themed games, your room decor would immerse you in the world of Monster Jam, and you may even have food inspired by Monster trucks (delicious and fun!). You would have the chance to explore trucks up close and participate in workshops that are friendly for the entire family.

It would leave off of the port of Miami and the owners of the Cruise line would be one of the bigger named ones, (Carnival or Royal Caribbean) and would leave in October or November.

The link below should take you to the survey. If it doesn't, rip.

Overall, I like the idea. I don't know how long it would run for, but it seems like a fun thing to do.

Monster Jam confirmed that a show in China will happen in 2017 on Twitter

MJ didn't confirm a show in China. They confirmed a partnership with a company in China to bring it over via Web videos and possibly TV.

Then again you could've found new info, but right now its just a basic web/tv deal to bring MJ over to China.
