  1. I suggest to keep SMTP_v3 unziped in a regular folder. It makes it a whole lot easier to add/modify the trucks.

Here are some good resources for making/editing the trucks/tracks

RULE # UNO for editing Give credit and ask first

(I know your a veteran and i'm still a 'noob' just sayin' because so many people miss this)

Paint Dot Net Free , close to photoshop $0

Sketchup Free, but there is a premium, however ts not needed

These are simple and great to start out with. There are tutorials on how to convert Sketchup made tracks to the game.

  2. Welcome back, it is very different and somewhat easy to install the game

it takes about 10 min for me.

Here is m preferred version of the game

    Rigs of Rods 0.37.126

0.4.0.4 is out but wont work with the trucks.

I would till Sunday when v4 is out of the Truck Pack

Rear Steering is F1 and F2

    Grave Diggers lights are L

Simple controls or custom with a steering wheels

track and truck making tutorials are on the website

to make a truck you need a paint service and/or Blender

I suggest for tracks Google Sketch-up or Blender.

you will need the RoR .37 Toolkit

    Truck Pack

    your desired tracks

    ext.

There is so much more im sure others will cover. enjoy your stay vet. S3 is also about to kick off, see you on the track.

Edit : PC!!! I NEARLY BEAT YOU MUHAHAHA

  3. Most people here have Windows 7 and few with XP (me) and very very very very little have a MAC

Mac isnt really gaming computer its more of art and work type of computer.

A cheap new windows seven computer is only a couple hundred bucks.

or if your like me you could get a XP

    I recommend 7 NOT Vista

ask anyone here and they will recommend 7

Its fast and can hold many GB (most PC's) do now.

My friend Blake has a 7 with 320GB and he got it for $250 (Laptop)

    Sorry bud

  4. I am making an offline stadium and I could really use your help with it.

    I need the following

-Blank Stadium exported with a .mesh

-Textures preset (Monster Jam or X Tour your choice)

    - Pre set dirt ramps (optional)

or if there is one I could use, please point me in the right direction.

Why cant I do this on my own?

    1 Blender wont work

    2 Sketchup wont work

  5. Remember in the past we had i think over 40 people show up for qualifying for a couple shows, which can take from 3-6pm est to get done since people show up at different times.

I think a good way to prevent over 40 people in one event to schedule drivers to an event instead of having 40 trucks qualifying in the time that could have been used to do an event with side shows

    Just my opinion

and I think RoR Freestyle Mania (Old league which died years ago) did that.
