I'm sure a couple of us "geezers" can figure it out still! It's going to be fun!

Well I had a very humbling qualifying pass. Don't think I'll make it for Saturday's show time wise but I'll be happy to be hanging out with everyone watching.
-
I plan on qualifying today. Really hoping I can make the top 24!

Wow. Track looks amazing guys. Well done!

I understand wanting to keep it a secret...but it gives quite an advantage to you guys since you can run on the test track whenever you please.
Mark,
We had this dispute a LOT back in the day with MTM2. It's kind of par for the course. Unless you don't allow members of the event to actually race its really unavoidable. My suggestion would be to sit back and wait. Sometimes back in the day tracks wouldn't get released until 20 minutes BEFORE show time with no previews. This makes things a little more fun when nobody has any idea how they're going to do out on the track. And I'd be willing to bet the guys building the course aren't taking the time to practice hourly to get an advantage on anyone else. It didn't happen in the MTM2 years and I highly doubt it's happening now.

I see Diggerfan is back at it.... Micro Machine's looks amazing dude!

I really want to get back into racing with everyone once the spring ends. I've been hectically working two jobs (80+ hours) to get everything paid off on time for my wedding in March. After that I'll have open nights again. Seeing so many older faces coming to this finally is exciting to see!

I think it was a really good idea to open the site up into a more content driven style format. I'm sure there are capable people out there who could run a very popular series. Well done guys!
-
Burton's sort of hanging around now for the sake of hanging around. I bet he'd be really competitive in a N'wide ride though for Childress.
-
I think Regan would be great in a full Childress car myself.

Wow. That's a TON of content to play around with! Well done guys!

Bigfoot, Viper driven by Rich Blackburne, XDP driven by Dave Radzierez, Backdraft driven by Jeremy Slifko, Eradicator driven by Andy Slifko, Instigator driven by Paul Breaud, Hurricane Force driven by Steve Thompson, and Storm Damage driven by Tim Mente!
I don't really feel that's a stellar line up in comparison. Viper, XDP and the Storm Damage team all are C level trucks. I completely understand KSR's budget is considerably less than what the city had to play with though. The only real A-List talent there is Backdraft with Andy's kid. And they've been on a bit of a scale back this season trying to build the new truck. Bigfoot won't really do much of anything but its the draw truck. My concern is that the spectators will still come out and be hugely disappointed thus the show won't draw the same way next year.
I don't feel this is a KSR Motorsports venue. It's a little high brow for them in comparison to what they're used to. Hopefully they can put on a great event. It's certainly a huge test for that group of people. I'm intrigued by the tug of war competition they'll be holding.

I don't recall who it was that made the leafer Taurus, but they did a fantastic job. That concept needs to be brought forward and evolved, it would be great to have a bunch of leafers,
This. I would love to see an actual body developed and put under that style of truck. I'm trying to figure out if I can clone NR2K3 to this game and start making some of the speedway events from the TNT era happen.
-
I believe I was one of the few people to beta Remington back in the day David. Was always a huge fan of it, didn't you even make a Computer raceable version? Need more leaf spring trucks now! Haha.

Wall banner textures are backwards but otherwise smash up work!!

I'm sure I'll be creating something for this game when I can put an afternoon away to play with Blender Shoe. I was looking at the tutorial video on here and conferencing with Mark about how easy it is to use once the hang of things is reached, I'm sure I'll be able to handle it.
Keep up the amazing efforts guys!
-
Oh I'd agree you've done a fantastic job! Figured I'd point it out though. I'm a ways off from attempting anything like that just yet.
-
I'd still try to shrink that stadium down coconut. It's a little bit out of scale in comparison to the MTM2 one I made. How did you texture it so quick?
-
I'm flattered people are remaking my stuff from MTM2. The PPRL WF2 Stadium looks good. I'd agree with Cidra though it needs to be narrowed down and shortened a little bit. I made that stadium up to mimic Sam Boyd in looks and apperance. Keep up the great work guys! I expect a beta!!!
-
Mark that looks fantastic! I knew you were going to hit a homerun with that track!
-
Excellent. Thank You!

Hey Guys,
Curious what the differences are between .37 through .39 I keep seeing people reference around here. I run .37 on my at home computer and .38 on my work machine. Do you have to run the latest version in order to race? Do people have preferences? Just curious. I ran a quick search and didn't see a fast answer so I figured I'd post.
Thanks!!!

I feel like Hagerstown is a bit outdated to be holding events. The freestyles take forever to get from obstacle to obstacle from the vids I watched. I'm sure the racing is just as good as its has been though.

Thanks for putting the reunion on everyone. It was great to talk with everyone again and let loose like old times with the new game. Congrats to Damien and Kyle on the wins and best of luck to everyone tomorrow!
