  1. Here's another update on me and Christopher Hamilton (worldfinals)'s project of Bounty Hunter 2005 version. Chassis construction is near completion, and the texturing (thanks to Chris) is also almost done. Just some finishing touches need to be done before we export it out of Blender and put it in game. Big props to Chris for making the scheme and texturing everything on the chassis. Here are a few sneak peeks:

  2. A set-up similar to Meents would feature a stiffer coil to eliminate the real need for sway bars, but obviously, the soft coil set up is working just fine for Adam and also for CVH. And as DDT said, the nitrogen shocks will finish up on Adam's current chassis until the frame gets retired and when Adam debuts the new chassis, it'll be a coilover set up. I heard he was going to use Overtime shocks, but as usual, things can change at any second. And for those who don't know, Adam's old King shocks went to Jim Bendzick with Thunder 4x4.

  3.

Also, legend looks really weird with nitro shocks on. Just doesn't flow and shift like kings and it makes me sad he's forced to run nitros from now on with the new frame.

Who said that Adam was going to be running all nitrogen shocks on his new chassis? Last I knew, he was going to be running Overtime coilover/nitrogen shocks all around the truck since King and FELD are no longer doing business

  4. Ehrmahgherd, I made thing!!!

And for any of you kids who don't know, that's an old Overkill frame. Which is still running overseas as Euro. Anyone want it? I probably won't use it again, so I'll I.m. it to anyone who wants it...

Edit: looks like blender can't take a decent picture. Tried the print screen button and nothing. Not sure why?

Hope you don't mind me asking, but do you mind sending me a copy of the frame as a .blend file? I want to take a crack at something using this frame, so if you don't mind sending me a copy, my AIM is:

Here is the Halifax Scotia Speedworld with a TNT Motorsports twist! Straight line drag racing is the primary type of racing to do here, but the course can be changed up a little to run a very tight turning Chicago style racing bracket. It's a simple but fairly fun course to run for those RoR players who like doing hardcore monster truck racing! Please enjoy and if there are any questions, comments, or concerns about the track, please send me an AIM message at: dandonmt@aol.com

  6. If Monster Jam is going to be doing what they did last year, the 1st quarter lineups should be going up sometime next week, as last year's line-ups were put up midway through October.

Teams have their contracts (if not, most of their contracts) signed and ready to run, and they either have or will be getting their tentative first quarter schedule very soon. But, Feld never usually releases their confirmed line-ups until late November to all of December. Usually before Christmas, they'll have all of their line-ups released (with the exception of a few in most cases). Other promoters are already booking for next year's first and second quarter for venues and trucks and side acts.

  7. Adam will be running Overtime coil over shocks on his new chassis for 2014. This chassis will finish of its life on all nitrogen shocks, as far as I know. And, there won't be anymore shows at The Linc due to the stadium people complaining that the monsters were tearing up the turf. So, as of right now, Philly's monster truck action will be coming from the Wells Fargo Center.

  8. All I'm going to say is that there was zero safety there for the fans. The promoter claims to have "tried" to control the crowd on the side of the performance area where the truck ran into, but obviously there was no effort there. The people down there are mesmerized every time they see a monster truck even move 20 feet in reverse, so having one run over three cars is outstanding to them. A monster truck is a crowd-drawer, ESPECIALLY down there; with that being said, the only concern at that point would be money and entertainment. As you could have clearly seen, there was ZERO safety involving protecting the spectators from the performance area, and because of that, when the driver "got drunk and hit his head and made the throttle stick", the fans were put into a situation where there was nothing to do but run and attempt to avoid it. Yes, it may be an old monster truck that was here back in the 80's, but an RII system should have been in place, as it always is at every monster truck event here in the United States. Even though Mexico may not have the latest in motorsports rules and technology, there should be an international system set-up to where the can be a set group of technical inspectors in a set amount of countries, and those inspectors should go to these events to check and make sure it's safe to run. Just my two cents.

  9. From the videos I've seen, the space between the down ramp on the single car stack and the up ramp on the last car stack in the racing lanes are bigger. That may just be the vantage point of the video, but that's what it looks like to me as in it should be bigger.
