After about a year or so of relative slacking, I've gone a day or two without sleep and kept working on a low-poly decent quality model.

Should be ready for SMRA on Friday, with the time difference I forgot  just realised that due to the time difference when the race is actually on, I had heaps of time to work on this....

Well.....

Anyway, Diggerfan was kind enough to let me use the body.

I haven't run in an online event since SMRA Season 1, if I rejoin for Season 3 should I run with my old prices and "team" or am I allowed to update to a new truck?

Blender is semi-easy once you get used to it!

Progress on Bigfoot 1 is decent, mind you, I'm gonna go back through the mesh and re-do most of it again, but one day I might be done!

Don't know how I'll go topping those trucks!

It's been a long time since I did anything RoR related, hopefully the internet service gets upgraded over christmas time and you might even see me drag out one of my trucks and get back into racing someday!

I've been working on blender again, this time re-doing my F-150 mesh to a stage where it doesn't look awful.

It's not something I'd say "Stay tuned" over, but one day....

Basically, I'm making my own body at this moment and while the sides have turned out "perfect" the tailgate appears in, what is basically a huge mess in the uv wrap.

Any ideas?

I continued work on my "Acuratefoot" project, this time, ditching the Retrofoot model and going in solo:

The monster tank is just about good to go, depending on how I release it.

It'll either just be the chassis, with the files all there to add your own body or I slowly chip along and make a heap of tanks.

Either way, have a look at this for another teaser.

(note: the body is the work of diggerfan and is in no way associated with the monster tank project. This specific monster tank will not be released for the reasons previously stated)

The M4-based Monster Tank Chassis project is almost done:

Last step is to simply use the trucks leafer frame to connect the body to the chassis, that'll give us an engine too.

Then comes the fun bit, painting each individual part!

Reason: Runs in multiple events consistently.

I've been working on a monster tank chassis for a week now and I can't get it to work in-game.

Instead of the chassis I see in blender this comes out instead, every time.

It of course should be longer than it is tall.

I run Blender 2.49b.

If you're gonna buy Monster Patrol it has to have the wing on it.

Working on an M-4 Chassis lookalike so I can start on some monster tanks.

I'm gonna just put out a nice caution for you guys,

Fancy Footwork and Bad Intentions won't show up in multiplayer servers.

If this can be fixed then they should be on the list, but at present they shouldn't be.

And just noticed this:

 

That problem is a simple fix. All you have to do is delete the space in the .truck file name. If that doesn't work then I don't know what to tell you.

Derp.

Bad Intentions and Fancy Footwork are fixed.

Considering this I am going to run Bad Intentions in SSRS so put Arctic Monkeys on the list instead.
