Even winzip doesn't work for me (which I assume is due to some weird file permissions setting), so instead use this workaround...

Place the .zip file into the "vehicles" folder in your documents/Rigs of Rods directory.

Place the contents of the .zip file into the cache.

When you're done, drive one of the Sim-Monsters trucks first. This sets the sounds so they work in the addon trucks.

It's a neat layout...though the lines are kinda tight, I'm not sure if you can go to the outside of them and arc the turn, or if you have to stay between them. Traction is just about right, though.

Well? Do you? I've been looking for a nearby trackday event meself...and it'll be awhile before I can get my car prepared for such an event, but I wonder how many people go to HPDEs, Trackdays, run oval tracks, drag race, et cetera, in real life.

Honestly won't give Feld a dime 'till a certain Big Blue Ford returns to the series, but I would like the independent trucks to at least have a chance. Can't say if they'll win or not, but I'd like teams not affiliated with Feld Motorsports to sweep both events. Not that it'll happen, but I'd like it.

Short-course, Tough-truck, or Hill-n-hole for me. Anything that involves high jumps...

Ah, the Terminator. The underrated Mustang...the one with IRS and "insurance rated" horsepower. Definitely a nice car...those'll run with most GT500s, and in fact, could beat one of the iron-block Shelbys 'round a track. The new 'Luminum block, maybe not, but definitely the nose-heavy pigs.

Decided to make something simpler: obstacles for a custom "Fantasy" course. One with...a sense of humor about it. Note that these aren't final textures, just some to kind of help visualize what I'm going for...

Start out with pretty standard stuff: a wheelie roller and a simple car stack...

A van stack shaped somewhat like an actual van...

and then things start getting...wierd...

Like a 100 foot long bus stack with approaches from all sides..and intended as part of racing!!!

And an enormous tire....not the BFGoodrich inflatable you find at PENDA events, either!

And a jump over...a cardboard Box?

Wait a sec...this looks like a certain shady character's concession stand...

Now I need a fence, Flag, a "double" stack, and a ramp consisting of a stop-sign shape with "Strong Badia pop.: Tire" written on it. And then, I need to figure out how to get the stuff ingame and arranged for...

((It's entirely possible I may like Homestar Runner too much. and, I'd like to have Bubs and KOT 2D figures for the stand (which I'd love to be the Truck Spawn) and the cardboard box obstacle... but I can live without those.))
