It also has 2 versions now, a stage 1 ( early 80's) and a stage 2 (mid to late 80's). I hope to have a penda style truck done soon..

Hello all, long time since i last posted anything productive here..

But, i am working on my 2nd version of the old leaf spring monster truck.. It has been completely redone from the axles up.

It is as close to an mid-late 80's monster truck as i could get.

I also would like some help with this project..

- I need someone to mesh a body and all suspension parts, and place them onto the chassis.

- I need someone to convert it from the basic wheels to meshwheels..

- I need someone to fix some camera issues.

- Rear steering issue, it doesn't center and the controls are flip-flopped

.

This thing does have shocks as you can see, so it does handle pretty good.. This project WILL be released sometime in the near future.

UPDATE #1: added a bed, it is also now deforms.. see pics.

I changed up the gearing and suspension some more. added different tires and messed with the body panels some more.

The deformation on the bed was caused by about 4 times of landing flat on the back end of the truck from a wheelie.

btw, The large brown two-story house is not mine, it's a fixer-upper. she's a 1971 GMC 400 sbc combo, factory air, ps, pb... all original, 74,000 rough original miles, was a farm truck, so that is why it's missing chrome and has small rust issues.

AM/PM Boss custom "throwback" truck, body made by roach, all hand painted lettering and stripes, let me know what you think! still more work to be done, but it's 80% there.. I have this, AM/PM Rocket, Gentle Ben and maybe another 1971-72 chevy/GMC monster truck.
