ok so I read the directions that came with the sound down load and idk what I did and my trucks are gone. even after the regen. so I deleted the pack and im starting over. so I copy the files inside the new sound folder into the v4 folder and open the .truck folders and put in the sound In text and it shoud work? I had the breakable pack which was working. I also down loaded the chris h pack and if there are gas/break pedals, rii box etc.. that didn't work.

ok I figured it out. where your truck folders show a note pad, mine are just the piece of paper with the fold on it. trying it out now. thank you!

can someone tell me what file to pick from the zillion of the truck files in the v4 pack so I can change the sounds around. I try to open files in notepad and I get a bunch of random letters and symbols. I don't even know what file is what.

im using the 37.126 I believe. yea I was looking at the controls on the config and I don't see rear steer listed nor anything using f1/f2. its hard trying to get the trucks turned it tight spaces. I have to power slide it and cut the wheel hard in the opposite direction. I got a lot better at it but rear steer would be nice. I may try and hook up the original key board that came with the computer and see if it works. but I like my wireless with the mouse on it.

ok it does say f1/f2 but its not working. f2 looks like it resets the truck and f1 does nothing

rear steer isn't working. I wonder if its bc I have a Logitech keyboard? damn I suck at this stuff

ok that worked. thanks!! now for the breakable trucks, do I just drag it into the v4 truck folder? and how do I get the rear steer to work?

Ok I'll try that. I just bought a new PC after seeing this game years ago. After finally playing it I was pretty pissed lastnight lol. Thank you, I'll let you know what happens.

I down loaded the v4 pack. first time it worked then I went and downloaded the chris Hamilton addon thing and I dragged it into the v4 pack folder and only had 1 truck. I removed the v4 pack and tried reinstalling it and the game and nothing works.' what do I do?
