  1. Sure we can go with the "it's meant to be a sport" formula, but it's a Motorsport for Pete's sake, and I don't know if it's Fox Sports making the "same track every event" stipulation or if FELD is just spending money on the minimum. They could at least, like I said, go big on the design every world finals.

  2. I agree regarding the lackluster look of the track. Sure it might be totally different at the end of the day for freestyle, but I doubt it'll be anything jaw-dropping. I'm hoping it's somewhat unique.

If not, they need to reevaluate their track design team, because quoting what I said in another thread, when fans KNOW the track will be different each time monster jam comes around, it'll make them wanna buy tickets to see what they do differently each time. You watch a show on TV from New Orleans before Monster Jam rolls into your town, you can guess what it'll look like in your town save for a few steeper backflip ramps or *gasp* no ramp at all. I'll still make rounds for the world finals for the sake of having fun with family, but as a fan of monster jam, it just bores me when it's been repetitive for potentially two years straight.

Besides, would it kill them to visit a scrapyard once or twice for pyramid car/bus stacks? That was the best!

I'll say as far as personal favorite year... 2002 and 2008.

2008 for sure that world finals track was BEAUTIFUL

My favorite year... Still 2008, 2011 cause it was my first ever world finals and I got to see Avenger win a deserving FS championship. The most recent tracks feel kinda formulated, but I think that if they can come out this year with a more creative track and keep doing that outside of Vegas, it could really up the excitement and profit since fans would REALLY start to wonder what the design would be.

It's disappointing to see FELD be so cheap though. Being such a financed company with deals with Marvel and whatnot, you'd think they could spend a little more to spice up the tracks in their tours. Unless for whatever reason they have to so it counts as a sport for fox's broadcasting

  4. It's obvious I'm talking about the 2016 world finals here. Who's going? Anyone gonna be set up with some sim-monsters type stuff on a laptop to kill time in the stands once gates are open? Whatever it is, talk about it here!

I'm interested to see if Todd or Mikey get the first back to back wins in the same event this decade. We've had nothing but snowflake wins these past few years at the finals, so who knows what can happen

  5. I kinda just disappeared on you all. Probably no big deal either, but I'm back! I'll be at the world finals and the hype got me back into this, but I guess that makes me a part-time competitor or something, heh.

No really. I'm probably just a part-time driver.

  6. In Mexico, the internet is too slow. So due to this, fun runs and season events haven't gone well for me. I will probably be out of the forums until August 6, in which I'll make an eventual full return. In the meantime, I wish you guys luck in SSRS.

By the way, any fun runs this week will be my final appearances before the indicated date.

    Alright see ya guys <3
