  3. Alright hear me out on this. But I got an idea and I think this is the best place to post it, I was also thinking the question or request pages but this is more of something thats been on my mind involving track making. Now I'm going to assume the probability of this being remotely good is low, but I think if it works it could completely change how tracks are made and could increase how many *replica* monster jam tracks are made.
So, as another fair warning, this is coming from a guy who barely knows how to clone a truck and can't even export a track into ROR. But this idea came to mind after exploring the code in ROR.

With monster jam being very creative with their tracks this year and the past few years I thought of an idea that involves making a set amount of tracks, just tracks, no stadiums and exporting them to ROR. Similar to beta tracks before they have a stadium made. Now what I mean by *set amount* of tracks is different lengths and prop placement (Short track with backflip on starting line side, Long track with backflip ramp on far side of track etc.) Then taking existing stadiums and leaving the inside empty except for a floor, and then exporting it to ROR as well. Then make a Ternn file and putting them both in like how most people do the collision and noncollision parts of tracks. Wouldnt that make a track with only two premade models? Now complications would be track paint, stadium tarps, and lining up the two models. Which the paint and tarps could easily be worked around with simple repainting, I've seen it done. For example: If there is a Short 2019 Green Track and a Blue Tarp Metlife Stadium, you line the two models up and the track fits but say you want the tarps and track red, well you do that, it would only take a day or two to complete the actual track once you have the models. Now you could be thinking that just making the track would be easier but again hear me out, what I have found when messing around making replica tracks is that they are difficult to make. And think of how we've been making trucks for the past however many years, sure it takes time to make the models but once they are done the possibilitys are near endless. Another thing you might ask is, "Well MJ is probably going to make a new track next year." Well we make the models. Easier said then done I guess, I know that stuff isn't easy to make, but like I said above, you could cut track making time in half after all the models are made. And who knows, feld might say they are keeping the track design the way it is, and all we need to do is put two models in a line of code and do a bit of paintwork and its all good. Another thing is that the creators of the tracks and stadiums would have to allow the same thing truck creators allow, the ability to have a model shared and used for many reasons. Now please don't tear into me on why this wouldn't work because really I doubt it would, I know it takes a lot of time and effort to make a track and stadium for every replica, but I had a thought and wanted to at least get it out there.

Show your projects 64 around page 25. Your welcome. Stop demanding/asking, knowing our luck he will remove the .truck file and make us put it in ourselves. Now do we want that?

Great work on the pack and can't wait to finally use something other than a slammed v4 or nothing.

Okay, this is something that I know we all, including myself, thought died.... but then one day I found the files and I thought that this would be a fun track to finish, and I started working on it again. I know at this point it's "really old", but does it look like I give a f*ck? Nah, this was getting finished no matter what. I just needed a break and boom, yall will have it soon!

    Alright this is epic.

I do have to suggest that a high, medium and low quality version is a must have. Like the racing track the two versions are good but I think we need a version in between the low and the high quality. High quality would be for the good computers that can run 20 HQ trucks at once. Low for the crappy computers that can never get past a V4 before a crash. Then maybe a Medium quality? Pretty much just the stadium with the stands and all that. But nother crazy in the back like the loaders, banners, pits etc. Basically a mix of the two versions. Reason being because I found the low lag version of racing very boring due to a lack of seats and due to my computer not quite being able to run an updated truck on the HQ version. I get that they were a part of the non-co mesh btw it just seemed boring without them. I know this is a high request but if you could make a separate version with actual seats it would be very helpful for the in between people. Now this can be as easy (probably easier said then done) placing the track on and old sam boyd stadium model or reworking an entire new non-co mesh. It does not have to postpone the release of the track, maybe just an update later on. I did not realize how long I made this. I have no idea how long it would take to make something like this so feel free to ignore if you think it would be too much work.

    Work in progress.

    Some minor things to change

    • The tires holding the cars in were painted blue

    • The ramps for the stunt bikes were not present when the trucks were on the track (unless you are making a pit party track keep them there)

    • If you are making a stunt bike variant then first of disregard my previous quote, and there is a red mat going from the end of the arena to the launch ramp then another one after the landing ramp going a few yards.

Other than that it is a perfect replica so far! Dont hate for these minor changes they just make the track more accurate. 😉

Got This Done San Antonio 2018 it took me 3 days to complete this tbh today was a struggle since i broke the screen on my laptop and have to use a tv as a monitor tell what i need to fiz and ill do it

Great work! This is way better than your Houston track and better than I can make.

However a few things to fix that I have noticed are:

    • The lines and more importantly the paint needs work. The white lines on the jammer are the most prominent.

    • The tires on the pad are way too high. They at at least have to be in the middle or a third of the way up the side.

    • Again you have made the Dumpsters too high. They should be a little shorter than a truck. Due to the angle I cannot tell how high they are but if they are the requested size then ignore.

    • I also cannot tell from the angle but it seems like your back flip ramp is too tall as well.

•Fix your textures. The tarps and the dirt are way too small of textures so they repeat in an awkward way. The dirt should be a lot more detailed. Also the ribbon board is reversed.

Alright I think that is it. If you use these suggestions then your track will look a lot better

It's not possible unless you model the tracks yourself in blender, as they are made with BeamNG's Terrain Editor.  Most of the 3D modeled tracks are from here with proper permissions from the author to use.  You'd just do more work for yourself converting something already here.

What about the tracks that were made in blender? Like Washington 2016, St Louis 2016, Beamng St Louis, etc. Are those possible to convert?

ok ive read the comments on the Houston 2017 file so I have redone the entire track and the paint (note I deleted the pumpkins cause it makes your game lag) its currently pending update

Now I get that you are probably done with this track and you have already redone it and all but there are two more things that would help it look more realistic. Make the ramps shorter, I noticed that when using the first version the ramps were way too tall. Try to measure with the size comparison truck in blender and use other tracks in game to get the angles more accurate. The other thing is to make the track less vibrant. I was at one of the shows with the Green and orange paint and it was not that bright. Try to make a layer to the paint and add a dirt texture over and change the visibility until it looks realistic enough to use. (Flatten afterwards as well) Okay that was my ramble on being a perfectionist for the day. And again I know how long it takes to change a track and there is nothing wrong with the track as it is. It's a track and I know I would be worse at it. Good luck with other tracks.

  10. I am in the process of making a truck and it was made for .3 and mine is needed in .4 how do I convert trucks to .4 to fix the white tires. BTW I have all the textures and files needed but the tires are still white.

This was a big track... pic bellow is of the surrounding area. Not of the actual track

    raceday-1024x565.jpg

Other Info: First of all, I believe that almost every driver said it was the best track they had ever driven on. I think it would be fun to drive on especially since it is an independant show. There was a second track for day 2 but there were no major differences besides a jammer in between the middle pad and the racing lane and a pad on the left, as well as the motor home in the middle jump becoming an SUV. This was the racing track and the freestyle track had 3 cars put up against the box truck and the PT cruiser on the first picture stayed. Along with the 3 cars on the inside turn on the right were moved around the turn instead of being together. If anyone has any pictures of the day two track please comment them.

If you need any info or criticism please PM me since I was at both shows
