Track making question

When ever you make a track in blender do you ussaly make the track then put it in the stadium, or make the track in the stadium

I make the stadium first.

It can be either way. I do both. Depending on what I feel.

If im using a stadium from somebody else, I will put the stadium in, and delete all verts except the walls. I like doing this because the stadium wont get in your way, and you know where to place your obstacles because you know where the stadium walls are.
