monster truck downloads

I'm new to this, and my son wants some monster trucks, I get to the point where I can see them in the ROR menu, but when I click on it, the whole game locks up, and can't do anything. I'm not sure what is going on. IF I get the trucks off of ROR site they are working, but he is getting tired of those trucks. IF somebody could help me out, and make my son happy, I would appreciate it.

You got to download the V4 pack which is in the downloads section , then add it to your packs or vehicles folder, then you go to the RoR configuration/settings/advanced then click on Clear cache & regen cache ?
