Cloned Truck Problem

Well i cloned Higher Education to make my Monster Hot Rod Bus but when i tried playing it in game it looks like this http://zoid162010.deviantart.com/art/Monster-Hot-Rod-Bus-390573942?q=gallery%3Azoid162010&qo=0 so i need help to get my custom paint job on the body

Did you put the body's texture image within the same folder as the mesh?

ahh this problem usually happens when you either dont have the texture for the body, or the material is messed up. i'd rexport it from blender and make sure the material is in there,

well i did reexported the body but it did not make a material file

Yes and still my Paint job is not on the body

Alright i got the Paint job Problem fixed

Can you explain how you fixed it, so other people with a similar issue can try what you did? Just think that might be helpful to others.

I actually had that problem multiple times and each time it was because i either didn't assign the material to the faces or I didn't put the texture in the folder with the mesh.

well how i fixed it was when i exported the body i named the Material file MonsterHotRodBusBody.material no spaces between the words and .material needs to be put on the file name or else it won't be a Notepad material file with the notepad icon in the center of the thumbnail image same can be said with the chassis just named it MonsterHotRodBusChassis.material hopefully that can be helpful info

You also must have the body png in your v4 folder
