confused on how to install trucks

How do i install a custom v4 truck. it either shows up and crashes and the v4 trucks dont show up, or it doesnt appear in the truck menu loader

Well for best results, I would recommend taking the V4 zip out of packs, placing it on the desktop, then extract the files out of the v4 zip and put them in your Documents/Rigs of Rods/Vehicles   folder. This way, All you have to do when you go to add a new truck, is drag the files from the addon zip into the vehicles folder, and it will automatically install

i drug the smv4 pack out of winrar to desktop, right clicked and extracted files to rigs of rods vehicles, then i drug MAddog.zip into vehicles. went into game and only maddog truck showed up along with another truck, clicked on it, game crashes

You have to drag the files out of the custom truck zip, and put them into the vehicles folder; you may also need to go into your rorconfig, and press Clear Cache, and then press Regen Cache.

sorry if this is frustrating for you, im new to this, i drug each file out of the mad dog.zip into vehicles, clicked clear and regan cache, but when i tried to load the truck, it still crashed? so idk

Try clearing and regening again. Should work after a while, lol.

ive done it ten times and only the truck i didnt want works lolol
