themightykasey
This may sound like a far fetched idea but it could be cool, ok follow me here neil elliot in the super-dome completely destroyed the truck and kept going in freestyle. Does anyone remember that. Then the tragedy happened with the boy in Tacoma. Now pretty much unless its tom or dennis(sometimes dennis) they dont let them keep going with a broken truck. Since FELD pays for some truck damage, i believe if the truck is still drive-able, drive it til it wont go anymore. But the possibility of pieces of truck flying into the stands his higher. Think of hockey, they have a Plexiglas shield to keep pucks and guys on the ice right, so why not bump it up to monster jam to keep parts flying into stands and let them drive it into the ground. Because tom meents used to be the greatest driver of a broken truck until they quit letting them drive a broken truck. sound stupid or no? hockey like barrier around stands to keep parts and debris from going into stand so trucks dont get sht off after a bolt falls off understand now? Jose Garcia
Yeah can we not mention the kid and let him rest? Please.
maxdfandan555
First of all, when the kid was killed in tacoma the driveshaft loop parts went much higher then a plexiglass shield in hockey does. Not to mention those have been broken before. The stadiums would have to install extremely strong glass to protect all of the fans for one or a few Monster Jam shows in a year, the amount of money that would cost would be pointless. The other part, Tom Meents and Dennis Anderson know how to drive a broken truck, and thats why you see that
