truck building

Im working on a truck. its my first truck and i know the basic of blender but i cant figure out how to bend the "piping" and also im having trouble with importing stuff. i cant figure out how to import like a motor with my chassis. Could someone tell me what i do.

To import .blend files shift+f1

Then find the blend, click it, object>name of part.
