controller issue!

Ok so i'm fairly new to sim monsters. i've finally started to figure everything out so i decided to step up and use a controller. i've downloaded motioninjoy and my controller doesnt connect. i've did install all and the other thing still doesn't connect. i think it may be my controller because im using an ebay ps3 controller could that be the prob.? i also tried the better ds3 thing it doesnt connect either. So can any one help thanks guys.

Have you installed the proper drivers for your controller. I had that problem with my Xbox controller. I downloaded the drivers and it worked fine.

ok i figured out ho to do that part the controller is installed it vibrates and everything. but now it doesnt show up on the configurator under controls. im using 0.38 by the way is that the problem? or do i just need a certain keymap? and if its just the keymap can someone give me a link to one
